"Free" Airdrops are bad | pointless. The usual strategy is to bring attention, get influencers, make "higher" drops to insider and let them shill the projects. Speaking facts, most of the projects with huge airdrops have their momentum, and then sell off.

@ekuzyakov Fully agree. I would like to see more push towards atomic transactions and IBC. DA: Celestia > Near BOS - narrative of decentralized gateways doesn't work yet. There is a problem of the near social indexer. Is there any other indexer or we all depend on Proximity?

@_weidai Bitcoin as a token doesn't need network effect. Bitcoin as a web3 ecosystem is marginal today. Solutions that are going to tap this opportunity will need a network effect. BitVM2 is optimistic and expensive. But it is definitely better than the existing custodian bridges.

@alexeiZamyatin It's about having sufficient decentralization, sufficient security and sufficient fault resilience and good UX. I think BOB goes into that direction. LN doesn't have it. Ethereum rollups have it, many #Bitcoin "L2s" don't have it. That's why we build @NativeNetwork

@BobBodily Wow, so it's not even a L2 - it's a side chain? I thought they post ZKPs of the state transition on Bitcoin, and use a challenge flow to settle on Bitcoin. However I'm not exactly sure how Bitcoin is validating those challenges.

@BobBodily L2+DA = Rollup. My definition of L2: 1. uses L1 for settlement 2. inherits security guarantees from L1 (using L1 as a verifier). PS: some people argue that weak security guarantees (with off-chain verifier) suffice (for me it's a side chain). So, for both of us AN is a sidechain.
