Some people pointed out that her body looked unnatural but that's just how she is and I'm sure people with similar body fat distribution exist. I don't aim for realistic portrayal but people saying "she looks like me" makes me happy.
I saw through a QRT that an artist used my art as a reference. It made me really happy. Please don't hesitate to use my art as a reference. I'm inspired by many artists, so me also being a source of inspiration to others helps strengthen my sense of self.
Thank you for 10k likes!!😭Nanaco missed you♡
Sorry for all the people who followed me for Miku, I rarely draw fan art....But I present you my oc Nanaco, I hope you can like her too. She has so much kindness in her heart to give.
I did not expect this illustration to get so much attention…wish I could have done a better job on the background and spent more time fixing various mistakes but thank you all so much!!!🙏
Thank you for 13k likes! I struggled a lot with the pose and colors. Just wanted to make a romantic drawing with a cute Nanaco that makes you want to hug her. Put a little blurry effect so the colors melt into each other to give a warm feel.
Sorry for the lack of activity. I'm feeling somewhat irrelevant but I'm glad that you are all still here. Hopefully this feeling of discomfort will go away quickly.
No credit needed. I would love to see it but I also like the idea of my art being referenced "somewhere in this world"... To me, the simple fact that I inspired someone is recognition/acknowledgement.
These are my personal opinions. There are artists who wouldn't want the same thing done to them for various reasons. While you may not understand their reasons, it's important to allow people to have their wishes considered and respected as long as they are morally reasonable.
I know many of you prefered my previous art style because of many unique elements I incorporated into it but the "felt" texture became messier and dirtier and went out of my control. My new rendering method is so much easier to deal with and looks more organized😁
I originally wanted my Twitter to be a place where I would post various illustrations of different girls, but Nanaco monopolized me. It's also easier to have one girl to draw instead of having to come up with different characters all the time.
Thank you for 20k likes!! Miku is life🙌
Despite running out of ideas for backgrounds lately, I tried my best to make it look like a cover art. I also carefully selected the colors for a nostalgic visual. Miku's original design is just splendid isn't it~~
Most I know draw R18 so I will refrain from sharing but if you're reading this and you draw wholesome art of plus-size characters then feel free to promote your art under this tweet!😁
There are artists I look up to on Twitter too.
I like the art style of Chzzei, Inkuusan, Conto, Fae, and Atro.
(@/chzzei), (@/inkuusan), (@/poderdohokuto), (@/lilitafaery), (@/WhoopsAtro) respectively, please check them out.
I did create one new character that I want to draw alongside Nanaco. But first I have to polish her design a bit. She looks somewhat evil compared to Nanaco. Letting you know in advance that she is not a plump woman.
Glad you all seem to like her!! No name yet but I will keep the tweet up a little longer. Sorry I usually delete sketches because I like a clean media tab😅
@Taiyak11001
These Nanacos are ADORABLE!! Thank you soo much😭 Her hair is shiny like a gemstone...so pretty🥰🥰🥰I really love the chibi Nanaco, do you mind if I use it as an icon for my other account?🙏
I'm self-taught. Started studying 8 years ago because I wanted to live in Japan but now I don't know lol. I do want to continue interacting with Japanese people online, I just love the language so much.
It's still difficult to spot typos in Japanese but at least I can spot machine translated or unnatural sentences right away!💪 I write sentences all by myself but it does take quite some time😓
Got a question about Nanaco's name origin.
She was nameless for a while after her creation. Then I came up with Nanako because I drew her wearing a jacket with seven written on it (Nana=seven). The C spelling is because a Japanese mutual spelled it that way and I fell in love😊
It's something I've been thinking about for a while now.
I knew it would disappoint many, but a genuine lesbian character is much better (especially created by a lesbian person!). My wish is for Nanaco to be appreciated for her honesty and exemplary kindness☺
I like the school uniform on Nanaco so much I will make it another “official” design for her (that means I will draw more student nanaco).
Let’s just say that she wears it because she goes to aviator academy….
I did make Nanaco a lesbian just because I didn't see her with a man (she reminds me of an idol) but didn't think too much about her seriously being with a woman...
But now I kinda want to make her asexual and panromantic(?)....🤔
I see a lot of people saying that they look like Nanaco or want to look like Nanaco
I’m glad she is an inspiration to many but her most important trait is her kindness. She is selfless and tenderhearted. If you want to look like Nanaco, you first have to fight the evil within you
I understand your frustration and I'm very sorry!😭
But Nanaco finding beauty and wonder in everyone regardless of their gender identity and appearance seems much more in character for her🤗
@Caskye_
Hold on this is beyond amazing😭 I'm so impressed, the amount of details is insane.... You are obligated to feel proud of this work!! It's an honor to have such a beautiful hand-crafted 3d model of my original character🥰Thank you so much for your hardwork🙏
