The cross demands change. A new creation in Christ does not live like the old creation did. Behold, all things have become new. The grace of Christ is free, but it came with a high price. Don’t cheapen it by trying to justify your sinful lifestyle. Jesus does not justify sin.

@FaithWithMase Not true. One must repent and believe. The Greek for Believe equals being sold out. Jesus even addressed this in Revelation telling the lukewarm Christians that they would be spewed out of His mouth. Grace is free, but it was not cheap.

@osasisHERESY Yeah, this is the current debate with some. They say ALL sin. Tomorrow’s sin, the sin I am currently in, I’m still a sinner (but sanctified), however that works! We are supposed to be new creations where all things are passed sway and become new. We are called to be separate.

@FaithWithMase 19 seconds in McArthur says Jesus died for every person who would believe. Heresy rides in on the back of truth. Jesus died for every person who would believe or not. The difference is that His grace is extended to everyone, but not everyone will receive it.

@Simple_Disciple We are not under the OT law. One who loves by the law will be judged by the law. The OT was specifically referring to “markings for the dead.” Not all tattoos are markings for the dead.

@osasisHERESY I had one theological professor try to teach that everything in the Bible is not accurate. My reply: if I can’t trust it all then I can’t trust it at all. How much is untrue? 1%? 10%? 30%? The Bible is the most accurate document in history according to a non religious university

People love this verse to justify sin: “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” John is clear: “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar”

@Ainigma777 Was he referring to himself as Saul or Paul? The next verse says he received or obtained mercy, past tense; not in the present tense. Paul also lists flesh works in another chapter; murderers, adulterers, etc. And said as “were” some of you. But you are changed.

The more I see John McArthur, the more disappointed and angry I get. He preaches a false Christ and a false gospel. He blasphemes God’s Word, denies God’s gifts and healing power, and denies salvation to many outside his doctrine.

@ElohimSaves Jesus absolutely did not tell Paul to preach a different gospel. A house divided against itself will not stand. Jesus sent, not only the 11, but every believer from Jerusalem to the UTTERMOST PART OF THE WORLD. Paul focused on gentiles in that area while others went to India, etc

TESTIMONY! My elder had a bone density scan. The doctor told him that his bone density was so severe that if he bumped a table wrong his hip would fracture. Trusting God, he had a follow up scan and his bone density is back to normal. Are you sure God doesn’t still do miracles?

@pastherandie Eve was not taken from the foot of Adam; she is not beneath him. Eve didn’t come from the back or head of Adam. She is not behind or above him. She was taken from his side as a help. Eve was deceived, Adam rebelled. God places no distinction of the greater sin. Shame on pastors.

@WildOliveTree_ Absolutely not true. Moses was forbidden from going in the promised land because he struck the rock instead of speaking to the rock. It was disobedience. You can find this story in Exodus. God is a just Father not an abuser desiring to make an example of someone to prove a point.

Fora Christian, there is a difference between committing a sin and living in sin. A person who is saved may sin and not be a sinner. But a sinner is not saved. The cross demands change.
