For Palestinians, the primary contradiction is settler-colonial oppression. Just as it is for Indigenous nations in NA. For Canadians (settlers) it may *feel* like the primary contradiction is between classes under capitalism, but that struggle is conditioned by the above. 3/7

This is a pretty important book for putting both the USSR at the time of Stalin, and Stalin himself into context with the rest of the world. Keeping it on my shelf, as I know I will be picking it up for reference, and will likely read it a second time.

@safe_hrm It wasn't a strike, it was a lock out by the employer. The employer took a tantrum, locked everyone out, and the government forced the workers back to work without a deal. "Strike" is the kind of reporting you'd expect from a media totally captured by the employing class.
