The narrative that the XSS has faster clocks than the PS5 is ridiculous. The xss has SMT speeds of 3.4GHz, 3.6 without SMT enabled. PS5 is 3.5GHz with variable. But, this isn't even the story. What's the cache latencies, CCX latencies, custom tweaks.

The biggest frustration is quite frankly the shitty way Sony has been holding back info this gen. It has been ultra frustrating. Road to PS5 event was handled like crap. Even now we don't know the custom stuff on PS5 GPU. It's the custom stuff which is what is interesting.

I honestly thought now the consoles and so on were announced, things would calm down. Instead Microsoft buys Zenimax, rumored to be buying Sega. Sony is apparently rumored to buy Ubisoft. Panik!

I *REALLY* don't understand why suddenly everyone is questioning why PS5 Pro will release (it will, devs have access to documentation) And who it's for? It's a beefed up PS5, so same as Xbox One X or PS4 Pro was for. People in the ecosystem who want better graphics / higher FPS

For the people asking, I do NOT KNOW if the XSX has the infinity cache. I was specifically hinted PS5 has something like it, it's why a long time ago I mentioned about how important cache coherency and CPU caches structure being different on PS5.

@Dealer_Gaming Xbox was designed to be basically identical to desktop with custom. Sony had custom hardware not designed around desktop, but with basically similar features. I mean really this is how we knew it would be if anyone had paid attention tbh. Ps5 is pure custom RDNA 2

Like guys - the PS5 Pro can play the same games, but with better visuals and more stable frame rates. Easy question: 1. Do you want better looking games and like playstation = Yes buy PS5 Pro. 2. No, I am cool with base visuals = don't buy PS5 Pro. Simples.
