Fiction app Wattpad touts itself as a place “where stories live.” But interviews with four minors who were groomed on the app, parents, experts, writers on Wattpad, and three court cases suggest that it is also a place where sexual predators thrive.
AI generated porn is rapidly spiking on Reddit, a platform that has long allowed sexually explicit content. While these images may be fake, the systems used to create them are trained on billions of images of real people without their consent or knowledge.
I tested ChatGPT, Pi, Claude, Bard and Bing and found that these AI chatbots won’t tell you who to vote for, but will create a range of targeted political ads from text messages to TikTok videos.
Employers across industries are using chatbots to interview and screen job candidates, largely for blue collar jobs. One chatbot interviewee called it a “dehumanising” experience while experts warn that these tools can be biased against certain candidates.
