I got BCI tracking now! I was able to directly control the ears on my avatar with my MIND after some training in the mirror! Super cool stuff! Thanks to @Lethos_OTStorm for the hardware and @ChillestCharles for the software!

@boltadgeartist @Lethos_OTStorm @ChillestCharles The hardware and software is reading off my brains alpha, beta, delta, theta, and gamma waves and using that to move my ears through OSC. How this managed to work out on my end is me sitting in front of a mirror and thinking of moving my ears, I got better at it with practice.

Thats a matter of opinion I guess, ive been puppeting my ears manually for years now, this just seems like something different. I dont really see this as a replacement for gestures yet its not exactly finger tracking levels of accuracy.

So new @vrchat update dropped, I kept getting timed out, even after restarting vrc. Eventually it threw a vague "Cannot join instance" error (for loading into my homeworld?) It loaded me into error world instead, fuck it im sleeping here tonight lol.

@htc 1st one new from amazon had a dead pixel, got it replaced through them, 2nd one was fine. A few months later my face tracker starts dropping out, support is stumped, we replace the headset and this one has a dead pixel too, turns out the tracker thing was a cable issue.

@htc I also had to ship my face tracker to an htc repair center to replace the tape on the mount because it lost its stickiness after being removed a few times. Which was labor I probably could have preformed myself and was 2 week turnaround.

On my end once I figured out how to make it move in the mirror I just practiced that "thought-muscle"
