There’s some west coast schools really missing the mark with the recruitment of Gomez. The kid had 37pts vs the top team in the state. He competes with the best of them. His resume for showing up in big games continues to grow. What more do you need to see?

My uncle suffered a tragic accident 4months ago that really shook me. Today he FaceTimed me for the first time and completely caught me off guard. It was a very emotional call but when I told him we played Mayfair tonight first thing he said was, take it to them. 68-64 win for us

I may be bias, but I’m honest with this hoop stuff. Veritas 16U team is one of the best in the nation. Didn’t lose to a 16U team all spring/summer and beat multiple high level 17’s (names not needed). May not look like much but if you seen them play at all you know.

If my hs basketball boys aren’t taking the proper steps to recover I’m shutting them down to an extent… we are either cutting down skill work/ weight lifting/ or games and replacing it with spot shooting or shots on the move. Can’t drain a kid out in September.

After 1094 days since my last Home game we are officially cleared to practice in the new facility today. It’s been such a journey, from having to travel to 35 minutes to practice, playing home games away, finding gym availability, going at 6 am for a year amongst other obstacles.

We played 5 teams this year that are in the semis in their own division. Strength of schedule matters!!! Taking some tough losses when we weren’t at full health has helped. It’s not for every kid, confidence was definitely tested along the way.

2027 @gene24roebuck in his first 7 high school games is averaging 21ppg. He’s shooting 70.5% from 2 and 48.3% from the 3pt line. He’s at 87% from the Ft line as well. Regardless of grade those numbers in high school are ridiculous. College recruitment should be picking up!

Tough loss but proud of the team’s resilience all season. Had to battle through a lot of adversity this year. Best wishes to the seniors that helped shape this team. To the returners we got some work to do.

La Mirada beats Los Al, 67-64, behind Nick Colosi and Danny Cabrera. Los Al battled without Jacob Eyman and cut a double-digit deficit in 4th to make it a game. William Henriksen and Zach Ruiz played well for the Griffins.
