We've highlighted it here before, but Sleeping Dogs (PC, 2014) continues to be one of the best rainy games in existence. Even 10 plus years beyond release it looks amazing.

the rare moments where the dragon engine realizes it is, in fact, able to render rain outside of cutscenes are very nice, like this early boss fight in Lost Judgment (2021)

In my local game store i happened to find BEOWULF: The Game (2007, PS3), a game based on a movie i havent seen. seems to be a skungy lil hack n slash adventure, but man 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 at this fuckin sea storm

Check out this beautiful sunlit starter village from the classic GRPG, ZanZarah (PC, 2002).
