Writer friends who did PitMad today and got no requests: don't let this get you down. I've seen pitches that got dozens of requests but then no offer of rep. I was always absolutely terrible at contests and I still got an agent via the slush pile. Keep at it. I believe in you.

I am forever a sucker for the trope where the MC gets wounded badly in a fight, but hides it from LI because serious shit is going down, and then later after they're finally safe the MC passes out from blood loss and has to be taken care of.

We're adopting a puppy from the shelter! I'm so excited. She's a Great Pyranese/Golden Retriever mix and has the coloring of a wolf. The pic isn't great b/c I got swept up in holding her and forgot to take a pic until she'd been put back into holding, but she's the middle one.
