Don't be a degenerate. Risk management/emotional discipline above all else. Focus on price action. I don't ask for money or promote stocks/crypto/telegram.
Here is an updated thread of everything I use, i.e. mentors, tools, strategies, resource, etc.. Hope this information will be beneficial and answer your questions or direct you to the appropriate people/places that can answer them. I will grow this thread over time. 🧵
The true Holy Grail of trading is risk management. You want to be successful trading, you have to learn how to lose. Entry strategy is less important than risk management. Subpar entry strategies can make you rich as long as you mange risk correctly. Wish more ppl discussed this
A quick lesson on 2B from
@VicSperandeo
.
What is a 2B?
-A 2B is when price breaks an important new high or an important new low and doesn't follow through and then comes back into the range of where it started.
-It is basically a failed break out (
@SPX0DTE
's favorite trade).
Trade setup
Main trade set-up I use. Easy, reproducible, scalable. It applies to all instruments and all time frames. I won't go into the nuances of the 21 ema or 233 ema, but this box trade setup really doesn't need anything but boxes. Thanks to
@vwaptrader1
for the inspiration
I finally got around to making a video on how to create MM levels. Many thanks to JJ
@vwaptrader1
on teaching me this. I will make a few more videos on how I use this in my trading. Happy Saturday all!
How you could have entered short on $SPY or $ES_F at the open today.
Sorry I haven't posted more of these charts lately. Real life has been busy. Pretty easy to make money off these concepts. But this stuff you should back test and learn. Pretty important. Four charts posted
For everyone of

who uses RSI histo, a 2-period RSI will show you precisely where the pullback is on the bust, pullback, break and close of the RSI histo. I look for price to be overbought at >85-90 or oversold at < 10-15. Needs to be stop hunt area/liquidity
@TheWTFNation
CDRs are assuming alot of personal risk to their careeers, not to mention the health and well-being of Soldiers, by overriding physicians' orders...and receiving very little benefit in return. Poor leadership imho.

The main goal of trading is execution, period. I DO NOT CARE how much you know, how much you think you know, how good of mentors you had, what you think life owes you...all of that is worthless.
Every trading setup can lose. Questions you should ask yourself:
-Do I have too tight a stop?
-Do I have too wide a stop?
-Is my position size too big?
-Can I physically make myself exit a trade if I am wrong or will my ego override my stop?
Practice good risk management.
$AMZN $3400 calls, Friday's expiry. Basic setup on 5min. Entered on Break and bounce of VWAP. Above 8/21 emas, long bias. RSI histo/3crs confirm long. Added at 1 stdev from VWAP. Half off at high 1st 5min candle. All out at prev week low.

Technical analysis and price action must go hand-in-hand. Once you understand PA, you use PA to enter off your macro TA. That gives you confluence. About all there is to it.
That is complex as trading is really, but...
Chart will set itself up first before the algos will trade it. Let it set up
Here is how the chart setting up at premarket set the tone for the first hour of trading. It will define your entry, stop and take points. These concepts can be used for any time frame.
In a previous tweet, I mentioned these following points. The most important parts of trading are understanding price action and managing risk. Let's start to look further into the below points.
Elements of price action:
-Control (who's trapped, who's in control)
-Candlesticks (wicks, bodies, large candles, dojis)
-Trends (TLs/channels, BOS)
-Pivots
-Gaps
-Measured moves/MM lvls
-Consolidation areas
-Volume (volume, vol/mkt profile, tape)
This is all you need to succeed

Last time I checked, Brazil is not in Europe. And the US has no power in who or who is not admitted to the EU. Take that beef up with Brussels.
1. Understanding how
@BestForexMethod
came up with 3 candle reversals (3crs) from Sperandeo's 2b setups: The pivot high/low, the ultimate candle, is the peek up or peek below candle above or below the penultimate high or low
Problem area 1: Waiting for chart to set up (impatience)
Problem area 2: Not taking trading after chart set up (fear)
Problem area 3: Stopping out when wrong (ego, FOMO)
Problem area 4: Taking profits too soon (greed, ego, fear, insecurity/lack of faith with price action)
@PaulJawin
What were they going to do once they got to the treeline, rush through an open field? Too bad more rounds couldn't have been put down on target, that was a damn turkey shoot
You don't have to take a lot of trades to make money. Less is more. Focus on A+ setups, take your money, and then shut down your broker and walk away. Someone asked me recently what my win percentage was. This is it. And yes, I only average about one trade per day
How
@StratDevilDog
's strategy works on both a 5-minute chart and a 15-min chart (both long and short). I took the long trade (basic setup) on the 5-min, fyi...very green day even on a little scalp
@Stone_Invest1
Yes, this is very doable once you know how to trade, are confident, and manage risk well. People just need to stay in the game long enough to learn to trade and manage themselves
-Price action is king. Price either consolidates or it trends
-Price will trend from one consolidation area to the next
-A consolidation area is an area of supply or demand Areas of supply/demand act as support/resistance
-Pay attention to what the market does or fails to do!
basic price action. look at who is in control, where are they trying to take price, how well they are in control, what their cost basis is, and notice where/how price control changes hands.
Learn this and practice good risk management, and you have the keys to the candy store
$ROKU $330 calls, Fri exp

3. Price above 8/21 emas - long

5. Held upper ADR & major volume area on VP - long
Look for confluence! Big Grn day
$NVAX. $175 calls, Fri expiry. Entered and added on bounces below VWAP. All out at target. Price action then retested VWAP and went to highs, if you were so inclined to trade again. RSI/3crs and 8/21 emas confirming long. Nice green day!

Veteran Wall Street Trader Richie Naso explains that this market is all algorithms and liquidity
Hello person scrolling. You who trades EMAs, VWAP, and supply and demand. I know you’re reading this and will probably somehow STILL say this isn’t true😂😂😂
Everyone has all knowledge they need to be successful. Now what you need to do is perform. Practice executions. Journal and record your trading sessions. Go over your notes and trading videos.
Candle opening levels (COLs) matter. They serve as significant support/resistant b/c this is the actual price point where buyers/sellers stepped up to move price in a significant manner. Look for large candles or candles at the start of a major move up/down
SPY today 3/22/23
The market either consolidates or it trends. It does nothing else. Wait for breaks of consolidation areas to enter. Wait for candles to close. Use 3-candle reversals and RSI histo for confirmation to get your momentum moves. Learn from

I will work on putting together some price action educational documents here soon. Simple stuff that you need to succeed, but very few ppl address it. Probably be in powerpoint. No timeframe atm.
@remindmetweets
Who's in control? Where are they trying to move price to? How good of a job are they doing? Who's trapped? Where's the cost basis for ppl who are in control? Is price doing as expected? When does control change hands?
These are the fundamental questions to consider when trading
🧵🧵🧵
1. Talking with people today. Want to reiterate some basic concepts:
Market does two things: it consolidates or it trends. (it can do nothing else)
What's the deal with ICT? Is this dude just trolling everyone? ICT with all these made up names. He got ppl calling gaps FVGs...how does one do that? That's impressive. Wild

Balance zones are all about rotation. The market looked below 4363 and failed to get lower it reentered the blue zone so we targeted 4399. Rotation traps longs up top and shorts at the bottom. Trade the rotations folks and wait for the edges. Hopefully
I know I post alot on entry strategies and how to read charts. I wish I could teach people how to lose properly in trading...bc that is the only way you will ever succeed in this business. You need to manage your losses properly. Hardest thing to do imho

A whole company now combat ineffective. Critical supplies destroyed. Single rail line with considerable damage and now blocked with substantial debris. Good strike from UKR. Will take RUS some time to repair that rail line, giving UKR precious time to advance
Just a follow-up tweet on how to draw cost basis/consolidation area boxes, where to enter, and where to take profit. Target is always 1-2 boxes, always trim at 1 box, try to add more to your position on the way up, and stop is break/close below pivot low with volume.
At the end of the day, all we do is trade TLs, support/resistance, candlesticks, pivots, gaps, and consolidation areas. We cut it if we are wrong. We trim and add when we are right.
The ability to cut it when you are wrong is what will make you successful. Simple, but not easy
Probably the most important tweet today imho. This is how I trade. Small moves on almost near certain trades. Keep stops tight. Compounding will grow your account very fast.
Small pip targets, big money value, tight stops, rinse and repeat
Some make £3000 / £5000, a house, unlimited ££ from a 5 pip, 5 minute trade
Time in the market is risk management
Every trade is the same. Took $LULU position long with $355 calls, Friday's expiry, info marked up on charts. Also a daily level from Yesterday at 352.34. Paid myself on pullback/potential reversal at target area. Nice big green day.

Trade. Journal. Review your trade. Mark out your areas to improve. Mark out things you did well to sustain. Make appropriate adjustments to your strategy.
Trade and repeat process.
