Thanks to the HOFer Terry Feeley @DCBCoaches who lead the area in terms of collecting and totaling stats from all teams in Dutchess and Ulster County. Terry has been a long-standing, highly respected coach across NYS, and voluntarily did this so local kids got some recognition.

Congrats to Dennis Hare (Red Hook 2016) on being named to the All-Tournament Team this past weekend in the Hilbert College Tip-Off. Dennis helped lead 25th ranked St. John Fisher to a 35-point win in the championship game. He averaged 15.5 ppg in the 2 wins. Great job, Dennis!

Dennis Hare and the St. John Fisher team lost in the D3 Men’s Tournament opening round on Friday night, 88-67 against #25 ranked York College. Dennis was 2nd highest in scoring with 13. Congrats to Dennis as he wraps up an outstanding career! Hard to believe 4 years are over.

Sadly, as most in the RH community know, Jim Hare passed away late Wednesday night after being diagnosed with cancer just a few months ago. Jim’s passing is a loss to all who were blessed to know him.

This team has shown a tremendous amount of improvement throughout the season. After losing 3 scrimmages vs RCK, Arlington and Lourdes by an average of 55 points in November, I don’t think anyone could’ve envisioned 13-5. But they stuck with it and are playing for each other!

Congrats to Brendan Donohue, who finished the season as a Top 15 ppg scorer in Dutchess County (Sections 9 and 1). Even more impressive was his 83.3 FT%, nailing down the 2nd highest percent in Dutchess County! Sophomore Nick Benassutti netted 71.4% of his FTs, a Top 15 ranking!
