@JimWoodUK @CounterStrike Yet these maps accounted for <5% of total matches in GO. I'll always advocate for a broader pool, especially as two of the maps on the list I contributed to, but there is no reason to rush them out as the demand is low. Some of these leaked so I'm sure they'll come when ready.

@ZooL_Smith Floor height variation is a crucial tool in making maps interesting. It is of course a balance and certain players will always prefer everything to be as streamlined as possible but ultimately, variety is what makes maps interesting and allows real skill to shine.

Next up for #Blocktober is a look behind the scenes at the map Terraformer from @PlayMarauders ! I had a lot of fun with this one - most of the games levels take place in enclosed spaces so this level presented a new challenge in designing longer range engagements.

@AntonHand As someone who has spent the best part of a decade making maps for CS, I think this is a bit of a dramatic take. CS2 is an evolution and an investment in the games future health. Porting tools exist and maps made for GO can be played on the legacy branch.

@xMercy_CS @TR3x3r CS existed long before skins and would continue long after. Anyone who wouldn't play the game without shiny cosmetic items isn't a massive loss. I make maps for free which can be enjoyed by the community regardless of if a digital sticker is worth 100k or 3 cents.
