Inundated with messages from business leaders and alumni this morning eg: “Proud bearer of an Arts Degree. Wish I had more Arts graduates working for me! They're more likely to be able to write well, think critically and have broader perspectives on the world.”

@MonashUni
Extremely disappointing. I graduated in 1997 at 22, didn't pay off HECS (a very low debt compared to what the JRGP will do) til ~40. That debt was nothing compared to what this policy will lead to. Just the thought of that is going to be exclusionary for poorer students.
Glorious and brilliant educators and researchers - thrilled for all who have contributed 👏🌎🙏 Monash University tops the world in pharmacy and pharmacology

Today I paid a parking fine incurred rushing around before Xmas. Annoying. The imprisonment of anyone but most especially indigenous women bc inability to pay fines is a gross injustice. So today I also contributed to paying another woman’s fine. Brilliant initiative
