Currently reading proofs of the forthcoming 6th edition of my SPSS textbook. I'm not prone to thinking anything I do is any good, but I did a massive re-write of the logistic regresison chapter, and reading it now with 6 months distance, I really like what I did with it.

First day of remote teaching went surprisingly well. Live ‘chat’ during a prerecorded lecture was great - lots of fab questions, and much more interactive than a lecture theatre. An unexpected positive was I learnt a lot about what I had/hadn’t explained well in the lecture.

As someone prone to anxiety, I'm trying to be calm right now, but everytime I hug my kids I feel panic in case I'm unknowingly passing on disease. I know kids are low risk etc., but try telling that to your innate, all-consuming, need to protect your children and keep them safe.
