To the fellas,
I apologize for lack of Ukraine related posting. My return to the fellaship just happens to coincide with what is likely the outbreak of the 3rd Lebanon War.

Just to make it very clear: High explosive ordnance found in missiles and gravity bombs doesn't generate effects like this. It creates a short, sharp flash and kicks up a ton of dirt and debris.
You need munitions or fuel on the ground to create fireball like this.
@joelmgunter
That's a munition right next to the shopping bag. It looks like the tail end of a mortar round(left). I've attached an example of non-exploded round(right).

Don't turn build 500 km of tunnels and bunkers under your territory, militarizing it to absurd extent and then launch an invasion of your neighbor.

I get some people have personality disorders and use causes like this to create spaces for the sole purpose of self-aggrandizement... but could they fucking not?

You lost a war, that the Arab nations started and have been trying and failing badly to undo since '47. You lost.
And what about my people?
Can I live in the Judean hills as my ancestor did in the times of old? Can we pray on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in our religion?

This just comes off as disingenuous. Hamas invaded Israel and Hezbollah fired over 9000 rockets at Northern Israel. Both built their military infrastructure under residential areas with the intent of either deterring counterattack or causing as many CIVCAS as possible.
Best case scenario: Israeli invasion mauls Hezbollah even further, destroys the vast majority of their terror infrastructure, rocket arsenal and ground units. Tehran is humiliated.
Israel then shrugs and withdraws leaving Hezbollah looking pathetic.
Pro-Hezbollah propaganda claims that the airstrikes struck "a gas station" and "warehouses containing medical equipment and supplies" in the southern suburbs.

We can send BILLIONS to Ukraine but Americans who have lost everything only get $750 dollars?!

First of all, I'm an American Jew, not an Israeli,
Second of all. That's not an acceptable proposition. That's an absurd way to live.
Biden administration no longer supporting an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon, says State Department spokesman Matthew Miller: "Yes, we do support Israel launching these incursions to degrade Hezbollah's infrastructure."
@John_A_Ridge
I would prefer if people didn't refer to some of my former co-workers as N*zis. Yes, the didn't return all of my taskers on time but that's taking it a bit far.
@aziz0nomics
If Israel pulls out, they'll need to be a military force to come into Gaza and the West Bank to ensure what happened in Gaza doesn't happen in the West Bank.

Resist Hezbollah you mean? 70% of the Lebanese people hate them. Only the Shia support Hezbollah, there were parties in Lebanon and Syria last night.

Part of this is weaponization of sympathy and outright lying by bad faith actors and propagandists at the beginning of the war.
@RyanLEllis
There is no magic number. The fact of the matter is that
1)their marginal propensity to spend is low at that income range.
2)The marginal taxes have been much higher before.
3) The government needs cash
October 7 was supposed to be a show of force by Iran axis. For Hamas, it was a chance to show it was still alive & kicking. Hereโs what we got:
Over 200 rockets from Lebanon, a bit more than usual.
14 rockets from Gaza.
1 missile from Yemen.
1-2 drones from Iraq.
The end.
@Schwuaa
@Faytuks
If they can't coordinate units you get what we have been seeing: Rather than massive barrages of 100s of rockets you get maybe 30 rockets, then a drone a few hours later.
Their arms depots and launchers are also subject to dozens of strikes daily further reducing capability.
@MonicaLMarks
Simple. The physical destruction of the military infrastructure used to threaten Israel. You're also not understanding the difference between a limited ground incursion and an invasion meant to occupy a country and replace it's government. The two are vastly different things.

Did I ever mention that Elon reminds me of a 12 year with Asperger's Syndrome?
Specifically, me as a 12-year old. It's unbelievably cringe inducing.

Their city is full of munitions that Hezbollah has been shooting at Israel for a year. It does not take a mental giant to comprehend why Israel is bombing these munitions dumps.
One of the deep craters in Dahieh, Beirut this morning. Israel pounded the neighbourhood with 30 strikes last night - probably the most intense night since the bombing began. This was shops and a residential building. IDF says Hezbollah was storing munitions underneath.
You can't claim it's racism and be taken serious when She's engaged in a pattern of getting butthurt every time Israel conducts a successful counterterror operation. The is issue is very clearly what she is saying, not what she is.
In no universe does a strike that kills 7 terror operatives, including a Hamas commander, with a CIVCAS ratio like this constitute an abnormality in war.

The Israeli intel penetration of the Iranian proxies and the subsequent elimination of their leaders and staff is making it difficult appoint new personnel to these billets.
In a normal organization. Recruiting for positions would be the job of human resources. Hence the joke.
The consequences of 2000-2006 are coming back to haunt the region. In return for for pulling out of Gaza and Lebanon, it is now fighting Hezbollah and Hamas.
Promises weren't kept and Israel paid with the blood of it's citizens. Instead of peace, it got war.
"Amnesty International calls for an immediate ceasefire and the unconditional immediate release of civilian hostages held by Hamas and other armed groups and all Palestinians unlawfully detained by Israel.โ
Can confirm at least one additional crater at Nevatim air base runway. It might still not be that bad. Other four impact signs have been previously reported. ๐ท
