"It can escalate!!" The gruesome deliberate killings of unarmed protesters in Iraq and Iran because the status quo was threatened should've been enough of an escalation. I'm struggling to find anything worse than hundreds of young people gunned down in cold blood for protesting.

This wasnt a suicide attack. To my knowledge, no civilians were killed. It was in the midst of fighting and she was cornered, and aware of what would happen to her as a woman if caught. These nuances are important even if you disagree with the parties involved.
