We've improved feel of the spear throw a lot lately, our character's floating hands give us the freedom to create a dynamic animation that just about works for any given throw direction.
A small hotfix for the
#PokeyPoke
demo was just published to steam fixing a couple of common issues, it also tracks a previously untracked gem! If you thought you found them all, there's now a sneaky extra gem to hunt down!
(Apologies to speedrunners!)
A new patch for the PokeyPoke demo is now available!
Highlights include:
๐Jump buffers added to wall grabbing/releasing for added comfort and reliability.
๐Dialogue flow improvements.
๐Dozens of bug fixes.

@MashArcade
the player animation is baked in, the spear bend etc is dynamic, though not perfect. We'll probably be tweaking this until the day we launch!

Controller support has been there from the get go and is being developed carefully alongside the KB+M controls. It's a very different (and currently much harder!) experience but one that is being looked after.

The "demo" is artificially walled off in many places sadly lol. It's a very early look at the game, it has changed quite a bit since then but gets the core idea across!
