Yes this is about poverty not race/ethnicity (although often linked). Why on earth would hearing different languages being spoken be distressing? I love to hear them!
@BenHouchen
"And if you're a leftie" what kind of language is that to use? Why do we have these coarse and unprofessional people in high positions? They are completely unsuitable and damaging
@mercer_felicity
@carolvorders
Oh dear you're going to have a big shock when you find out just how much damage your husband and his party has caused to our country and how hated you are for it
@ShepherdWales
@LizWebsterSBF

@foodgov
Lots of our food labelling no longer shows country of origin and states 'not for EU'. Fruit & veg can have no BBF date. We have lost our assurance that food meets the standards we had whilst in the EU and food inflation has soared. It's deplorable 😡
@egstirling
@Katynurse27
Apologies if I'm wrong but tbh I would probably have asked if she wanted to take her ear defenders off for the photo as it's only for a few seconds and then she can put them straight back on. Just because they can be so big and they're not designed to be worn all the time.
@egstirling
@Katynurse27
Because it could lead to greater sensitisation to all noise and then complete dependency? Because it may impact on phonics and speech work if child can't easily detect the high frequency sounds? But yes, it's her choice I completely agree with you, I'm just thinking it through

@carolvorders
When he criticised Carol for having the gall to speak up, he was actually criticising all women 😡 We've had this all throughout history

Sunak's father in law is heavily involved in freeports/charter cities in India (and probably elsewhere too). Sunak as an undergraduate in the States was heavily influenced by Singham who is a strong advocate for charter cities.
@JolyonMaugham
Piers Morgan should not have a platform would be my argument. By agreeing to go on his show, you would be endorsing his privilege to keep shouting his views to an audience. I have no interest in what he has to say because it's the same old bigotry again and again
@implausibleblog
@RobLaurensonD4P
The BBC really does represent the Tory gov here - 'they can't just give you what you want' and 'we don't bat an eyelid at physician associates' costs with less training' Why is this being normalised? We should be screaming!!!
@Ka81
I also think Gove's curriculum had an impact - half the class can't access the level of learning expected of them. Also the huge pressures of formal exams, particularly SATS & GCSEs
@DavidOlusoga
Amanda Platell putting words into people's mouths. What a job she has! Perhaps what she means is that she's worried it might be true that the Royal family is institutionally racist but she can't bear to face up to it

Older generations tend to read tabloids, watch news programmes and are more likely to be exposed to biased, anti immigration rhetoric
@reece_dinsdale
Why do Labour voters have to be 'working class'? Surely Labour values should appeal to anyone who works, or wants to work, to support themselves and the country as a whole
@Neil_gx
@naomicfisher
Yes! Also Gove's curriculum, Tory DoE directives/'guidance' and 'anti-woke culture" permeating schools - it's traditionalist, behaviorist and regressive
@aljhlester
Apparently he's also from the 'working class' as he used newspaper as toilet paper as a child - well how ironic that his writing is now on toilet paper
@Theholisticpsyc
I had anorexia and then bulimia as a teen and young adult. I never really fully understood why it happened. It was a long and gradual recovery, that I somehow managed to do on my own, but I do wish I knew more about it
@hlnewey
It must feel so awful right now, but by this time next year, we will have a new government that will get this country back on track again. Remember, our NHS was rated best on the world before the nasty party came in 2010
@gary_worden
@LucyGoBag
We didn't have a cost of living crisis back then, grandparents were able to help out working parents, easier access to support from health services. It takes a village to raise a child
@SamanthaMalin
Exactly I keep asking this and the replies are about how she treated her dad and sister and alienated Harry from his family. I point out that this is based on tabloid nonsense
@LizWebsterSBF
This is tricky because I want to vote Labour - but will have to vote tactically (Lib Dem) to get Tories out. I know people who will vote Green but sadly it will be a wasted vote 😣

I'm concerned about privatisation too, but the Tories have already privatised a lot of the NHS without the public knowing. It won't be possible to change that overnight and waiting times are spiralling. Let's see what the Labour manifesto contains...
