Was just thinking about how upsetting and difficult it was today to tell my students that I’ll only be with them until Christmas before I move to a new school closer to home. First time I’ve cried in years but I think that’s a sign that I’ll be a teacher for a very long time ☺️

I’m autistic. My tutor group were sad when I said I couldn’t see their House Dance performance because I struggle with bright lights and loud sounds. The day after, they turn up with a video of their dance that they’d all arranged to record with the IT techs. Gotta love em 😇

@stevie_caldwell I’ve seen very few who disagree with schools being assessed. Schools need to be accountable for meeting the fundamental needs of children. What I do see are people standing against a flawed inspection structure with limited accuracy that puts educators under unnecessary stress.

Enjoying one of @thebodycoach workouts remotely with my tutor group this morning! Not sure if their moods were brightened by the workout or the fact that I kicked a wax melt burner flying from the coffee table whilst doing mummy kicks... 🤭 At least everyone’s happy I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

A plea to #drivers : please stop rubbernecking when you see a car accident! Aside from the lack of respect for the poor people involved, there is no need for the rest of us to spend 30min in standstill traffic just so you can gawp at the crash on the OTHER side of the motorway...
