@OnDisasters Hill really should have been jailed, he was performing in an aircraft that he knew very well, it was the hottest day of summer, performance was therefore reduced. He was below his “gate” height for the manoeuvre, continued it anyway and killed 11 people. Awful.

@IvarNevan It’s standing wave cloud. Formed in a stable airmass, the waves are set up by a wind over a mountain range / high ground, this causes the air to rise and fall in waves…if during that wave it reaches its dew-point temperature it will condense out forming wave cloud.
