At age 96 Dad died overnight, after struggling for a few weeks following a fall. He'd battled Alzheimers for the last 5 years but continued to live a good life until his fall. We went to the match today in his memory but didn't get the result we wanted. RIP Dad Sunlun Til He Died

Tough day for me but proud to get through the turnstile after losing Dad in the early hours. I thought our fans stayed with the team & were first class. Better side won, but I thought we competed well til the goal & O'Nien, Ballard, Neil and Pritchard were excellent. #KTF #SAFC

Displacing season ticket holders to accomodate rival fans is one of the worst decisions I've seen this club take. Totally disrespectful of those fans who've invested in the club for years, &, in some cases, like me no doubt from the day the SOL opened. Terribly judged. #SAFC

I thought me and Eddie were going to grow old together, but it isn't to be. My best friend went to sleep this morning after eventually being diagnosed with high grade Lymphoma yesterday. I am devastated, empty, broken. . . Run free little man. Eddie 13.09.14 - 13.06.20

@fesshole I walked routes I walked with my dog Eddie after he died; totally bereft. I decided to turn it into a positive and walked the equivalent of Lands End to John O'groats and back to raise money for the RSPCA. By the time I finished walking over 10 miles a day for months it helped.

Had some awful news at match today that put the result in perspective. One of our most loyal fans, who sat by us for years, & followed The Lads home & away died in close season. We knew him only as 'Derek from Peterlee' - 1 of our own & taken too soon. RIP marra @stewartdonald3

Thanks for messages for Dad. It looked worrying yesterday, he fell & scan showed a small bleed on the brain & he tested positive for covid! However today his blood levels came down & he was discharged. He walked off the ambulance & declared himself happy to be home #legend 🤞🤞

I'm relaxed about the NUFC sell out for 3 reasons: 1. I'm more interested in the steady progress at SAFC 2. I would hate to see SAFC sold to that type of regime 3. I'll be able to say that in my lifetime they won absolutely nowt worth winning before the dirty money kicked in 😉

Saw a couple of tweets yesterday saying #SAFC team just not good enough. I'm not having that. We've built a team to be competitive in the top 6 of this league, and that is precisely what we are doing. We cannot expect to blitz this league given our starting position in the summer

Visited Felledge RSPCA today to meet Claire, the team, & of course the resident cats and dogs, including the beautiful whippet Roxy. We delivered our final cheque for £2207. This will greatly help the Centre & I'm so grateful to all who contributed. Thank you! We did #Eddie proud

Friends have been wondering about Eddie again today, so thought I'd better post another short update. He has eaten this evening for the first time really in 5-6 days. And has shown better signs with a brief burst of energy. Early days but better signs! Thanks for good wishes.🙂👍

Eddie update. Continuing to sleep most of day, has had water & his meds today & about 1 mouthful of food. But when he's been out into the garden he's moving ok (relatively). So, it is going to take a while, but as long as he comes through this that is ok. Thanks for good wishes X
