We’ve been receiving a number of calls regarding booking COVID-19 tests at the club. Please know that the rugby club is not managing the testing site. The testing site is a government effort and is being managed by the NHS.
Our 1st XV Team will be playing in the North One West league for the 2021/22 season alongside Altrincham Kersal, Birkenhead Park, Bowdon, Broughton Park, Carlisle, Douglas (I.O.M), Firwood Waterloo, Glossop, Kendal, Manchester, Stockport, Vale of Lune and Wilmslow! 🏉

We hope everyone has had a lovely Easter weekend 🐣 the Easter Bunny (aka Paul Newton) has very kindly gifted us with this marquee that he and his band of helpers constructed over the weekend meaning our covered beer garden can open on Saturday 17th April!
We saw a superb effort tonight as Penrith 1st XV took on Cockermouth RUFC in a pre-season game. The final score was 7-41 to Penrith, with our lads managing seven tries. Amazing effort all round. We’re looking forward to the start of the season next Saturday!

It’s with deep sadness we have to announce the death of one of our senior players, James Addyman. Finally losing his battle with illness which he fought with great dignity, bravery and fortitude. In the very same way he played the game. James was a inspiration to us all
Whitehaven Rufc’s Tour de Cumbria RFU team at the club this morning! Here is the team being presented with a cheque from Penrith Rugby Club’s President, Charles Graves. The club has donated £750 to their incredible effort.
After the Inner Warrior Camp last weekend the ladies team had 35 at training including 9 newbies!!💪
The club always welcome new starters and we are thrilled to see our ladies team expanding.
