We will not be actively litter picking Sefton Park after Africa Oye We are a group of volunteers, if @lpoolcouncil can put this event on then they can clean it up back up to the green flag standard. If they can do it for Eurovision in town they can do it for this.

Come on @lpoolcouncil is this how we want cyclists to navigate our city? Please can we do better? If the cycle paths aren’t cleared the drains block, the path floods you’re left cycling closer to cars to avoid puddles and rubbish Are we serious about active travel or not?

Hats off to @LPL_Airport this weekend they did a deep clean of the viewing area on Viscount Dr & Dungeon Ln - we asked them to get a grip of the area and they’ve done more than that - this is the only big organisation who have responded positively to us, credit where it’s due!

We removed 4,023 bin bag sized bags of litter last year in South Liverpool but we could easily double this - people need to stop dropping, dumping and throwing litter from cars - it needs education and enforcement & litter needs removing quickly so people don’t add to it

Great news LSSL have agreed to put a bin by Liverpool College bus stop on Queens Drive after 2 years of asking 🗑🥳 - they have also agreed to install cameras in the fly tipping hotspots - new bins for the Mystery Park too

Sefton Park was left in a right state yesterday by park users Take your rubbish home! If you brought it in a bag for life take it home in a bag for life! Thanks to Andrea and the volunteers or @ILoveSeftonPark along with bench Mark @MHowie81 for sorting out the graffiti too

Helped out @Princesparkrun , couldn’t leave Aigburth Drive gate by Bellerive up to the big carpark and back 1 full to the brim bag of litter in 20 mins and 0.7 miles Glad I did it, Mel and I cleared 8 bags of litter from here last week - people throw it from cars driving past
