Officers from Admiral Street Police Station have been around the Sefton Park area conducting a speeding operation after receiving reports from local residents at a recent community meeting. One of the drivers was clocked at 38mph in a 20mph zone and was dealt with!

Officers from Roads Policing attended the Belle Vale area to reports of off-road bikes in the area. As patrols entered the location several riders made off on foot. A large quad bike and an off-road motorcycle along with balaclavas and petrol cans where recovered.

Following complaints from local residents about people driving at excessive speed, officers conducted a speed enforcement operation around Booker Avenue. Motorists were advised about their speed where appropriate and several were reported for driving offences.

From Friday to Sunday our Roads Policing Team have been down showing a High Visibility Presence in Camphill due to previous incidents regarding off road bikes. Luckily we have had a settled weekend with no issues being caused by these bikes, and we have a lot of happy residents.
Over the weekend Local PCSOs from Speke made a new friend called Perry. Perry is a Peregrine Falcon who was in distress and needed saving from the net at Geoffrey Hughes memorial ground by our own animal lovers of the station. After some well earned rest, Perry has been released.

Officers from Speke community came across this unoccupied van parked on Woolton Road, contra with oncoming traffic on a dual carriageway. This van was subsequently removed by recovery for being left in a dangerous position and driver reported for relevant offence.
