1️⃣ Delta = Dollar Delta tells you how much to expect the option price to change with a $1 increase or decrease in the underlying stock. For example, if the delta on your option is .30, then theoretically your option price will move .30 for every $1 move in the stock.

2️⃣ Theta = Time Theta is known as time decay. This is the rate at which your option will decay every day as it nears expiration, all things held constant. For example, if the theta on your option is .15, you can expect it to decay in .15 everyday, again, all things constant.

3️⃣ Vega = Volatility Vega tells you how much the option will change in price with a 1 point increase or decrease in implied volatility (IV). IV shows a stock’s potential move. Higher IV = higher price swings. This is why you see options are priced higher during earnings.

4️⃣ Gamma = D change Gamma is the rate at which the delta will change with a $1 move up or down in the underlying. Options with the highest gamma will occur at the money. As you drift more ITM or OTM your gamma will get smaller and smaller.
