Harsha was trying to bring up Babar's record in South Africa, but Waugh and Vaughan didn't let him finish and shifted the discussion to India's performance.😄😆
Only off spinner to bowl a doosra with a legit action. Got it turn more than few leg spinners turned their leg breaks.
GOAT ODI spinner
@Saqlain_Mushtaq
Azhar was sacked after only 8 Tests for losing a Test match in Eng.
What should be done to the captain for losing a Test on this pitch that too at home?
Poor Azhar didn't have pretty cover drives or media looking after his backside.
The decision to drop Saim instead of Babar, Rizwan, or Ifti in a dead game suggests a collective commitment among them to prioritize personal records and playing as many games as well.
Winning or future of this team come secondary. They are all in on it.

I have been following Pak cricket for a very long time now, but this was the only time (under Misbah in UAE) as a Pak fan I felt team was invincible.
Even when they got in trouble you knew as a fan they will find a way, and they did.
Undefeated for 6 years over 9 series.

Baffling how he is named along side the likes of Shahid Afridi. Afridi won you games, single handedly, against top sides, under immense pressure, WITH THE BALL.

@SarfarazA_54
was removed by Imran Niazi in 2019 when he was PM. As Sarfaraz Ahmed hadn't listened to Niazi.
"He is a batsman, he is a lovely mix of Sachin Tendulkar and Javed Miandad" Ian Healy
Martin Crowe showered high praise on him on Pak's tour to NZ.
What a LOSS, he is still only 33 but mentally he is gone.
Umar Akmal burst onto the international scene drawing the highest praise from experts. Check out this contest between a young Akmal & Peter Siddle from the Melbourne Test in 2009. Got hit in the helmet & then took Siddle to the cleaners. Notice how the commentators praise him.
"Why do you need to play that"
Waqar
This is how T20 is played Waqar Bhai. Couldn't even crack modern ODIs as coach, don't expect him to be up to date when it comes to T20s.
You are only remembered in ODIs when you do it at the big stage.
Neutrals will remember Fakhar for what he did in CT and for what he has already done in this WC, no one will remember Imam for what he is doing in ODIs at the moment even with hai average of 50
He might say a lot of silly things on social media these days for different reasons.
But when it came to being a true, bad-ass fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar is unrivaled for me. Walked the talk, sledged the best and got the better of most of them.
Dropped your greatest wk batsman of all time after few failures for a 35 year old. What a fkn joke. There were fans talking about Azhar getting a special treatment
This is what you call special treatment, just carrying him around for years wasn't enough, now he gets a game too.
After enduring Dropmal for 10 years, who played because he could "bat" but a SHIT batsman away. An absolute blessing to have someone like Rizwan in the team. A world-class WK who is also a proper batsman home n away. He would also be a world class fielder if he weren't a keeper
Salman has done what most expected from Saud.
He hasn't only shown decent technique but guts as well.
Very good all round cricketer, should be one of the first names on the list for Pak in the playing XI.
McGrath is arguably the greatest bowler of all time, but man he was a jackass on the field.
First one to dish it out but couldn't take it.
Unfortunately no commentator other than Gavaskar had the guts to call them out.
Azhar was dropped for good after playing just 3 more games by Mickey Mouse and co. They continued with a clown like Malik.
Carried Pak's innings at the start, in one the biggest games of country's history.
When Pak's 50 came up Fakhar had only scored 14.

Stop quoting Farid Khan, please. That's exactly what he wants. He isn't concerned one bit about his reputation or credibility because he doesn't have any; all he wants is exposure. Whether it's good or bad, makes absolutely no difference to him.
Rizwan last 12 ODI innings
499 runs at 55 with a SR of 91.
Where is that Saraf faithful "journalist" who used to tweet every time he didn't score or made a very very rare mistake behind the stumps.
Wasim Akram said, "it's unnecessary to keep an ODI series against Australia before the World Cup. There's already 9 fixed matches in the WC, you don't want your players to get tired".
Imad is a frkng nobody when compared to Babar.
Babar knows he doesn't need to give Imad attention, which might only feed Imad's desire for the spotlight through criticizing Babar.
Imad Wasim's Timeline:
- Had an average performance in the 2021 WC.
- Performed poorly in the 2021 PSL, taking only 6 wickets at an average of 39.
- Nawaz, as a player, outperformed him, leading to Imad's drop from the team.
- Imad took offense to this, appearing on Tabish
Thought for the day: A spinner who turns the ball towards the off side is called a leg spinner. A spinner who turns the ball towards the leg side is called an off spinner..why? 🤔
@OAK194
Babar was forced by Saqlain and Ramiz, it wasn't his own decision. He wanted a green top and also wanted to bat first after winning the toss.

100 Tests for Stokes in 10 years - Eng played 127 Tests in total during this time
Wasim Akram played 104 in 17 years - Pak played 131 Tests during this time
Shoaib Akhtar was a much much better bowler than Asif, unlike Asif he didn't rely on conditions and he was very good in all formats in all phases.
As I said earlier, Shoaib might say a lot of silly things these days but he was a complete fast bowler unlike Asif.
Unless something goes horribly wrong Rizwan will go down as Pak's greatest wk batsman of all time.
His only mistake is the wk he has replaced was from Karachi.
It's shocking how quickly some fans forgot the contribution of Rizwan in Australia, New Zealand and England where he saved us almost every time after top order collapsing. He's the core. These T20 fans will start questioning every test player after couple of innings.
Pak vs Ind
Indian pacers
16-109-8 - ER 6.81
Pakistan pacers
12-93-3 - ER 7.75
Much better ER and 6 more wickets
Indian batsmen would have played the 4th pacer much better than Pak batsmen did, it might have made a difference but India would have still won.
Playing days lacked class, his post-retirement behavior is equally classless. Master at being both strokeless and classless, a rare combination indeed. Remarkable!
Kuldeep finding form at the right time.
Bumrah regaining fitness.
Shubman and SKY saving all their runs for WC SF and final.

Averaging 119 in 23 - 3 games
Shadab's batting is of great importance to this side, but he is a bowler first
Disappointing numbers for 1 of the most experienced white ball cricketers in the team
Fawad has been very unlucky with selections through out his career, probably the unluckiest one but at 37 when you start looking a little clueless against decent pace even on flat tracks then I am afraid isn't much hope going forward.
Babar should remain ODI captain at least till the WC.
Should remain captain in Tests as well under a new coach.
He himself should quit T20I captaincy and PSL captaincy too
Forget about his views on Pak fans he himself is coming across as arrogant, with inflated sense of self-importance. No humility, self-centered and boastful.
Agha has been very impressive too, bowled economically throughout the innings. He should have taken a couple of wickets as well if not for missed chances.
He also took three catches, including a really good one at first slip.
Forget the defiant statements, the grand pronouncements, Pakistan were always going to come to the World Cup. We knew this two months ago. That is also the way their players would have wanted it.
As a fan I find nothing more frustrating than opposing team's tail enders scoring runs and there is nothing more fun than the tail enders of your team scoring runs.

I can understand them sticking with Shadab for the sake of WC but how can they justify dropping Fakhar who scores 3 consecutive 100s (101, 117, 180*) 7-8 games ago?
Why not give him every chance to get his "form" back like Shadab?
Not the first time this is happening.
Absolutely crazy to even think abut dropping Fakhar, even if he is "out of form" you use these games to make sure your match winner gets his form back before the WC.
A few bad innings and the 'Drop Fakhar' agenda is in full flow, crazy that people are even thinking about this. Even with these failures, he is still our most imp player in ODIs. Him and Imam are out best opening pair in ODIs till date. Support them now before the WC
Celebrating Pak cricket without Imran Khan! Because who needs a World Cup-winning captain and the greatest cricketer country has ever produce by a country mile when you've got the awe-inspiring Wahab Riaz? 🤣
Assclowns
And all his haters used to say, Pak only win because of of the conditions. In their hate for Misbah they used to discredit the likes of YK, Azhar, Ajmal and everyone else involved.
Everything changed when Sarfaraz and Mickey took charge in those same conditions.
Actor spews a lot crap abut dalairi, Saqlain was a proper dailair bowler.
Old ball, new ball, power play, death overs, middle of the innings. Test matches or ODIs, Saqlain was always up to the challenge.

Why does Imad have a contract and how on earth he is in C and Saud, Agha and ifti in D?
Nasim ko B mein rakh kar paisay bacha rahay hain. He should be in A as well.
PCB announces central contract for players. Babar Azam, Rizwan, and Shaheen in A category. Imad Wasim gets the contract as well. Zaman Khan, Saim Ayub, Shahnawaz Dahani included in list of contracted players.
As a Pakistan fan, I have craved for Pakistani players to play at this rate without looking like they are getting out every ball, with risk-free shots.
A very good knock, regardless of the opposition.
Sarfaraz is playing after 4 years so he forgot to keep but he can still bat. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
How hard is to accept the simple fact that he is too old now. He might take a brilliant catch or two in the next game but he will always be inconsistent.
Playing injured Shadab just before the WC has to be the worst move by this management so far.
Having said that Shadab being the vice captain is part of the management.
Junaid carried Pak's pace attack in very challenging conditions along with Rahat and Imran Khan in the absence of fixerboi, who chickened out only after 4 games.

This is Pak cricket journalism they have no credibility. It's favoritism towards friends or prejudices based on ethnicity, they have no integrity. Personal agendas prevail over objective reporting.
No world record proved more detrimental to a cricket team than Afridi's in 96. His inconsistency, was celebrated as 'impact,' and "positive" cricket.
Besides being a 2 bit railu katta, he was a selfish git, a toxic presence in dressing room and he is still the same.
Miandad hugging IK at the end and the exhilarating sight of him running towards the pavilion after the triumphant victory in the 1992 semifinal are two of my more favorite WC moments.
How I wish Miandad was fit enough to take the field in the 1992 final.
keep doing badly for couple of years, everyone gets used to medocrity and no one will ask should he be persisted with?
Score 3 consecutive hundreds, be the 2nd best opener ever for your country but fail for few games and everyone will ask.
Should he be persisted with?
It seems you have given your "expert" anal-ysis without having watched the game and just by looking at the scorecard.
And stop licking lateefa's boota and paddling his agenda
Pakistan have really done well restricting Australia to a first innings total of 318.
Nonetheless 52 extras including 20 byes & 15 wides in a Test are surprising. We replaced Sarfraz Ahmad however there seemed issues for Mohammad Rizwan, though he picked a stunning catch still
After 100 Tests Miandad's average was 58. What happened in the last few years that he ended with an average of 52.57. May he was few years too late to retire
