PI won their initial game under the new lights, 4-2 over Lake City. Dylan Las picked up the win going 6 1/3 innings with the save going to Carter Drazan. Cole Uhde homered and added a RBI single to pace the offense. The team played excellent defense throughout the game.

Pine Island Panthers Baseball (9-6) picks up the 5-1 win over Cannon Falls on Tuesday night. PI got another great start on the mound from Junior lefty Brandon Week. Week tossed 6 innings, allowing just 1 hit and 1 unearned run while striking out 9 to pick up the win.

The Panthers (13-3) win a pitchers duel Thursday night 4-1 over Goodhue. Goodhues Vogel (RCTC commit) pitched a complete game with 9 Ks, but on this night he would be out done by Pine Islands Kaleb Johnson who would also throw a complete game while striking out 12 for the win.

PI (8-2) picks up the conference win over K-M 6-2 Thursday night. The Panthers jumped out to a 6-0 first inning lead and made it stand up.Schutz pitched 5 strong innings allowing just 2 hits while striking out 5.Horkey pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief and went 2 for 3.

Congratulations to Nick Bauer, our first Tom Kadlec Leasing Player of The Game from Tuesday's game in Zumbrota. Nick went 3-3 at the plate with a double, 3 stolen bases and a run scored. On the mound he also struck out 8 batters in 4 1/3 innings pitched.
