📣 #CPPS PSA📣⁣ The majority of young men diagnosed with #prostatitis do NOT have a prostate infection. They do have urinary urgency/frequency/pain, post-ejaculatory pain, perineal pain and/or penile pain. ⁣Over 95% of men with these symptoms have #pelvicfloordysfunction .

Who should be treating ED/low T at private men’s health clinics? We found that 88% didn’t list a urologist on staff. 26% didn’t list providers at all. Many offered non-evidence based treatments like PRP. We need more data about the practice patterns of these clinics. @SMSNA_ORG

Great work #AUAVirtualSci ! MP45-17 Findings: >230 stand-alone men’s health clinics reviewed. 66% advertising shockwave and 60% PRP! Only 7% had urologist as a provider. 7% had naturopaths or chiropractors as main provider. More research needed for these centers! @MCWUrology
