Just to be clear, I don't rate ALX because it's hard. I don't claim ALX is good because it's hard. I personally like their style of learning - project based, deadlines set - and the curriculum has been designed by some of the best SEs around. That's why I rate ALX much.

When doing my @alx_africa SE tasks, I use vscode so I can easily make corrections and test different variations until I get the final output and it is correct and then I type the final code I am using into the file using the terminal and push from the terminal as well.

It’s crazy, cost of infrastructures are going up to handle scale. Employees are relocating and requesting to be paid in foreign currencies.. You can’t increase school fees, because you know it’s hard for the students also. You earn in naira but a lot of costs are in usd.

For those starting/doing printf, if your partner creates an invites you to the repo, when cloning to your machine, don't use your partner's PAT. Use yours. If not the commits you make would not show under your name. So it will be like you never contributed to the repo.

A final update on this.. I couldn't finish this yesterday so I slept off.. I am finally done and caught up.. I might look into the optional tasks for these 3 projects but for now, I have done only the mandatory tasks, learnt soooo much and I am moving on.. It's me vs ALX 😂🔥

Month 2 did not kick off well for me.. the average for month 2 was 78%. That is still an A IMO ;). This month - month 3 - looking to have a monthly average score of around 150% A+++. ;) fingers crossed. PS: My goal with each project still is learning first and then scores next.

I randomly look through alx students GitHub to check their code for already past projects that I have done and see how they solved their own tasks. I do this to learn a different method of solving the problems and I've really learnt a lot just looking through people's code.

I spent the last week struggling with tech imposter syndrome plus wrote first semester to a program I am currently also doing alongside alx and worked on a project as well - that I almost thought I couldn't do. It did not come out perfect but I did it anyways.

I joined cohort 17 slack huddle for a few hours today and over the night. It was fun reminded me of days we used to stay on Slack huddles from 7pm until 6am. 😅😅 Helping each other. Gisting. Laughing. Networking with friends from other countries. I might bring that vibe back.
