The news I've been dreading arrived today-I'm going back on dialysis on Monday. I have absolutely no intention of stepping down as chairman of
@CaernarfonTown
and will battle to strengthen myself before two big operations in the future. I and the Board will continue as per 👊🏻💛💚
7 of yesterday's starting line up & 4 of 5 subs for
@CaernarfonTown
are Welsh speaking local lads. Yes we bring players from outside into the club but are also sticking to our policy of giving the best local talent an opportunity to play at the highest level. Proud of that💛💚
It's taken six months but it's been well worth it. All the skin cancer has been been taken out and the head has healed at last. Diolch byth am yr NHS
@BetsiCadwaladr

A class act! Just received this photo from
@markowen84
who cleans the
@CaernarfonTown
dressing rooms. This is how
@BarryTownUnited
left it yesterday which is fantastic. Huge thanks and respect to them 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'm having my kidney taken out tomorrow so will miss the biggest
@CaernarfonTown
match since the 80's when we play
@ClydeFC
Timing could be better but looking at the positives at least it will help me go on the transplant list & get better before we finally qualify for Europe💛💚
Signing off social media for a few days. I'm having a kidney removed tomorrow at the Royal Liverpool hospital so will be slightly pre-occupied🙈 Good luck to
@HuwGrif14365887
@fish3EFC
and all at
@CaernarfonTown
on tuesday and friday. See you all soon 👊🏻👍💛💚
#UnClwbamByth
Rather than expect clubs to play behind closed doors why can't all fixtures be suspended for three or four weeks, and let the season restart in late January? This would at least ensure that loss of gate revenue is minimised. Or is this too much common sense?🤷🏻♂️
Yesterday was my proudest day as a supporter of
@CaernarfonTown
I am so proud of everyone involved with us. And even if I'm in my 50's and on dialysis I can still celebrate with the best of them💛💚 This is why football is special👍
#SaturdayNightFever
🕺🕺
If selected, our play-off semi final next week will be our captain's 200th match for
@CaernarfonTown
What a servant
@GazEdwards_1983
has been for the club. Always class on and off the pitch👏🏻👏🏻💛💚
As we approach the final few matches of the season I have to say that
@sgorio
has been superb all season. They've covered some great matches and their highlights packages on every game is invaluable. Great job!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Haven't been able to take a break away from dialysis in three years until this week. Going three days without dialysis is not recommended BUT going to Belfast with
@CaernarfonTown
was worth the risk as a one off. I haven't enjoyed myself as much as this for years💛💚
News of this Super League further underlines that professional football has lost its soul. When the gates re-open please consider supporting your local club.
@CaernarfonTown
is run by supporters and we won't be trying to fleece anyone 💛💚👍
#UnClwb
What a performance from the boys👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Unbelievably proud of them and the management team. To play like that against a team like Legia Warsaw is some achievement and I hope the whole of Caernarfon and its area feels proud of them for representing us all like that ❤️💛💚
I’ve just been told that there’s a chance I’ll be put on the transplant list soon after my appointment at the Royal Liverpool next month. It would make such a difference to my family and I🫰🏻
Being on dialysys is not easy, it affects your life hugely. But getting it done is essential and having
@CaernarfonTown
in my life helps massively. It's important to look at the positives and not dwell on the negatives
#FeelingStrong
Some tweets I've seen about a flag at the Euros tonight with our badge on it have been poor & all from people who don't support us.Everyone who does knows who the flag belongs to & why it's there & we definitely don't have an issue with it,he deserves to be able to use our badge
Five years ago I had no clue who this man was, but thank God he rekindled his love for our club. Quiet and understated as he helps the club in his own way, make no mistake that
@KitmanPat
has been a massive part of what happened yesterday. Thanks Pat, what a man! 💛💚❤️
Gutted that Malcolm Allen is taking a break from commentating duties. He is by far the best they’ve got at
@sgorio
and I hope he returns to our screens soon. Great character and always ready to chat about football. Brysiau’n ôl Malcs ⚽️👍🏻
A quick shout out to
@gruffydd_john
for his excellent start with
@CaernarfonTown
It seems to have gone unnoticed that Gruff is playing in the
@CymruLeagues
for the first time and has performed superbly in all his appearances inc agajnst the league’s top aides. Da iawn Gruff 👊🏻
Just seen on the Cymru Football app that a side playing last night in the CPL North did not have a aingle Welsh player in their 15 man squad. I find that pretty shocking🤷🏻♂️🙈
Keep the fight going and continue to demand that
@fmwales
@WelshGovernment
let supporters into Welsh football ground. And demand that they prioritise the Welsh system before the English one. We need the fans in next season-use the friendlies as test events!

On behalf of
@CaernarfonTown
I wish to thank
@siangwenfelin
for taking up the challenge of trying to get supporters into our ground on saturday. Diolch yn fawr Sian, mae pawb yn yr Oval yn gwerthfawrogi eich ymdrechion ar ein rhan ⚽️💛💚
Now has to be the right time to let people back into our grounds. Clubs can adapt to make it safe so what's holding us back
@fmwales
@FAWales
🤷🏻♂️
@CaernarfonTown
is ready, able and willing to put on a test event for you, just contact us, and we'll get it done 👍💛💚
@CymruLeagues
Unfortunately I'm still in the Royal Hospital and so will have to support
@CaernarfonTown
from afar this weekend. We will be well represented by
@HuwGrif14365887
and all his players and staff and I hope that everyone making the trip has a safe, and wonderful journey💛💚
#UnClwb
He won’t like me saying this but
@CaernarfonTown
owes a massive thank you to
@glascofi
for the work he’s done for the club in 2020. Jamie is one of the most hard working and trustworthy people I know and an integral part of our team. Diolch yn fawr iawn Jamie 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💛💚
#ctfc
Now that the dust has settled after the Wales C match I want to thank everyone at the club for their tremendous efforts in ensuring that we could host the evening. It was a mammoth undertaking but we showed we were up to the task. Diolch yn fawr iawn pawb💛💚🏴
Proudest chairman in Wales tonight. Well done
@fish3EFC
@markorme2310
@kevsheret
the squad, all the supporters, volunteers, staff, sponsors and the hard working board members. Top Six Babyyyyyy👊🏻👍💛💚
A final word for now on
@CaernarfonTown
& Welsh football. Today, 12 of our 17 man squad were Welsh, including all 4 of our Academy players who came on. Academy grants are there to develop Welsh talent & it's brilliant that we are a club doing what we're supposed to be doing👍💛💚
To all those who were pointing accusing fingers at
@CaernarfonTown
in January:
We’re still here;
We have no debts;
We’re fifth in the
@CymruLeagues
We’re doing just fine thanks 👊🏻😁💛💚
I've been a Board member at the club for 14 yrs, photographer and media officer for last 12 of those and chairman for past 4 yrs too. This is the biggest match I've been involved in and it would mean the World to me if we can win it, it really would🤞🏻💛💚💛💚
Gutted that
@sionbradleyy
has left us but we all understand his reason. A top player but even better person, Sion has been amazing for us and I'll really miss him around the Oval. A perfect amdassador for our club and I wish him well and thank him for what he's done for us👍💛💚
Heartbroken that I can't be there with
@CaernarfonTown
tonight but I'll be glued to the tv. No matter what, I am the proudest chairman in World football tonight 👍💛💚💛💚
First time on the turnstiles for a few years today and first two who walked in, supporting the away side, were complaining, rather loudly, that they had to pay the £2 entrance fee 🙄 Money goes to the
@CfonTownAcademy
and It's hardly breaking the bank is it? 👀
It’s been brilliant seeing all the plaudits for
@JamieBreese9
since he announced he was leaving
@CaernarfonTown
I always think carefully before saying this type of thing but, for me, he now belongs amongst our legends. I’m gutted he’s left but proud to call him a friend🤙🏼💛💚
Positive news from
@FAWales
about football being the biggest game in Wales. However, what are the
@FAWales
&
@NoelMooney13
doing about engaging
@BBCSportWales
@BBCWales
in our game in Wales? BBC showers attention on the national team & EFL sides but ignores the Welsh system🤷🏻♂️
I still can't get my head around the fact that
@MarkDrakeford
thinks it's safer to bunch into a pub or restaurant than attend a football match at a
@CymruLeagues
ground. Why does he think that an indoor setting is safer than outdoors?
What a signing Morgan Owen has been for us
@CaernarfonTown
which shows that there is real local talent out there. It's a policy we have been built on since 2010 and it's one we're proud of👍💛💚
Fantastic news that
@CaernarfonTown
has achieved the Welsh Domestic Tier 1 and UEFA Licences for next season. For a club that was supposedly down and out last January, and again last Summer, we're doing alright😉💛💚

For me this is one of the best photos from our European adventure. Darren is an all-time great at our club. He's now 37 and just as good as ever and a mark of how good he is is that imo he would have got a starting place in our famous FA Cup side under John King.
The big day has arrived. To everyone who has supported and sponsored us and to everyone who has worked, played and volunteered for us......thank you for getting us here. Enjoy the moment, you deserve it 💛💚💛💚
What a way to end the year. 978 at the Oval, two superb sets of fans, and three points for the boys!
Happy New Year to everyone who has supported us in whichever way you have been able to during 2023, everyone at
@CaernarfonTown
appreciates it. See you in 2024!
Huge shout out to our groundsman
@wynowen1
Although there has been no football since March for
@CaernarfonTown
the Oval pitch still needs looking after and the work Wyn does on it, and has done for years, is obvious to see. Diolch Wyn 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤨💛💚
It may have gone unnoticed that a crowd of 752 turned up at the Oval yesterday to see if
@CaernarfonTown
could clinch a Top 6 spot
@WPL_Official
That’s a pretty impressive saturday afternoon turn out from the Cofi Army 👍🏻💛💚
A massive thanks to all our board members for all their hard work and support and especially recently in regards to our trip to Belfast. They often get overlooked but the truth is we would not be in this position without their efforts💛💚👏🏻
Dialysis strikes again as it forces me out of the trip to Poland for our big match.I love most of my life but I detest my illness with a vengeance, it's a constant heartbreaker for my family and I.I'll never give up doing my best to keep going but things like this are difficult🙈
The Last Dance by
@joshtibbettss
for us today. It was excellent to have you back with us Josh - the club called and you answered and delivered. Thank you for helping us out and for helping us achieving our dreams👍💛💚
From relegation favourites to European qualification. We have entertained our supporters this season with an attacking style of football that suits our club
@CaernarfonTown
There is no one like us💛💚
Does anyone else think that clubs having to pay £665 for match officials for one fixture is on the hefty side?? Not a surprise that clubs are finding it tough to survive is it?
#WelshCupExpenses
I'll also add that I'm not looking for sympathy, it's my decision to continue as chairman
@CaernarfonTown
I love the club,the supporters & the role and, rather than let my health & dialysis rule my life, I want to prove that people on dialysis can function & live fulfilling lives
It's New Years Eve tomorrow and my diary reads:
6:20 am On the road
7am Dialysis
11:15 Dialysis ends
12:00 The Oval
12:30 Our biggest match of the season where I'll be on media and photographer duty
16:00 Bed
It's going to be brutal👀
Wish me luck 🫰🏻👍🏻
Note to
@CaernarfonTown
supporters: Things may seem quiet on the transfer front but stay patient and you'll get another surprise or two before the season starts.
@DanielGosset
has been worth waiting for hasn't he?!💛💚👍
Regarding Twitter rumours today concerning
@CaernarfonTown
I’ll put everyone straight. The club tried our best to keep all the players who have left in recent weeks. The club does not owe HMRC a single penny. Keyboard warriors barking up the wrong tree
#TheTruth
#UnClwb
💛💚⚽️
Budget-wise,
@CaernarfonTown
are punching way above our weight in the
@CymruLeagues
But, contrary to how money plays such a massive part in modern day football, the club is showing what can be done with good players, a top coach, local heart, and the community’s support 💛💚
It won’t come as a surprise when I say that I’m absolutely gutted that Nathan has left
@CaernarfonTown
. He has been brilliant for the club on and off the field and I will really miss hiim. Top, top player and person. Pob lwc Nathan a diolch enfawr am pop dim👍💛💚
Wow,
@GaryLineker
calling the
@CymruLeagues
a Farmers League is typical of someone who doesn't know a thing about it. As chairman of a club in it I find his comment disrespectful and out of order. But typical of someone who lives in the millionaires football media bubble
#Poor
Huge thanks to club secretary
@CofiJones
for his incredible work during 2020. Geraint has been an unsung hero at
@CaernarfonTown
for a number of years but make no mistake we would struggle without him at the Oval. Diolch yn fawr iawn met! 💛💚👍
As a club, we have shown what can be done when we all work together. We'll never give up our dreams and will continue to work hard to make the town and area proud. Huge thanks for all the support, now let's plan on having another go next season

Re the suspension of the
@CymruLeagues
@CaernarfonTown
was one of 8 CPL clubs who backed suspending the league for now. The truth is we don't want to play matches without our supporters watching on in the ground. Last season was a nightmare and we don't want a repeat.
2.
5) Seven of our starting line up were local and Welsh speaking players.
6) Eight locals took part in the match for us with two more on the bench.
7) In Dion Donohue we had the best player on the pitch.
Disappointed to see
@HolywellTownFC
relegated from the HGA. Great club & good people. Gutted for
@Johnnyh17
who, despite our differences of yesteryear, I really have a lot of respect for. Good football man,excellent manager, loves his club & very nice person off the field too 👍🏻
It has been an absolute joy to have had

this season. Excellent goalkeeper with an excellent attitude and a nice, unassuming person.
@LFC
should be proud of him. Well done and thanks Kuba
