Just a little update thread on what we are at right now, and to clarify what the game will look like. I had mentioned in the past that the game would have pre-rendered graphics similar to Heart of Darkness. We started by using pre-rendered PNG sequences and were working with

very talented people working on the 3D elements. It will still have the same clay/toy-like aesthetic, and now we can do so much more with the physics. Just wanted to clarify so no one is still expecting the per-rendered look. It's now a side-scroller with fully 3D graphics!

those for the longest time. After a while though, we realized storing so much animations in ram would only play well on very high end pcs, and compressing them would look terrible. So right now we are in the process of a 3D overhaul. It won't be per-rendered, but we have some
