My chaser of the year for 2021 is Paul Sinha. He has the best winning percentage (89%) and gave the most correct answers in the final chase (87.2%). He has the highest catch of the year with 23, plus a further 6 catches of 19 and over. A thoroughly impressive year! 👏👏 #TheChase

In the last 6 yrs, in 1136 episodes, on only 4 occasions has a chaser scored more than the 22 that Paul got yesterday. That is how good it was. Jenny caught a 24, Mark and Anne have both caught a 23, whilst Mark scored 23 when chasing 25. It was the 11th score of 22 in that time.
