The end result? rverse would work for a while, and Pokemon Bank would risk being shut down by the end of the fiscal year (next April!) or right as soon I make the patch public, getting a lot of controversy in the process and no one to blame but me for doing that stupid move.

Well, we're looking at a light to the end of the tunnel. The server is now back online in a barebones way, but it's still missing dependencies to make rverse run. I'll give an update ASAP about it.

Using it would make rverse work again, with a huge risk behind it. Due to how Nintendo manages authentication servers, it would raise a lot of red alerts about a large amount of requests and then do nothing with them on their side.

Currently the server has been reinstalled and in RAID 5 to avoid gotchas like this from ever happening again. In the next days I'll work on a proper backup solution and restart rverse development.

@mrcringe61 Pretendo's goal is to be a 100% legal alternative, but in the process it changes how the miiverse experience is done, while we do our best to keep the original experience intact
