Actually felt envious of the Coventry City fans applauding their teams quick flowing patterns of play at times today. Imagine that. All we’ve got is the midfield and wing backs taking the ball on the turn towards our own goal and playing back to the defence and Bart.

Feels like a closing door on an era with Thompson going. Fred, O’Brien, Nelson, even Philpot and Pavey at a point were the “one of our own” tags that Harris was introducing after Holloway. Hope we get the next bunch of Olafoe, Burey, A.Mitchell etc. involved over the next year.

Surely Rowett can see the night and day difference the second half spell had at The Den yesterday. The simple change of having an extra attacker on the pitch with your full backs also getting involved in the play. Having the extra numbers in the final third paid off.
