Only reason his takeover fell through was because he couldn’t stump up the cash.

The playoffs 🤯
For everyone wondering why Ipswich have a lot of hype..
They lost just 4 games last season.
Kept the most clean sheets.
More resource at their disposal than most think.
McKenna has created tactically fluid side.
Automatics might be a stretch but certainly will have a flirt.
Reasons why Luton should be taken seriously:
✅ Best recruitment team in the division
✅ One of most tactically astute managers in the league
✅ Clear identity and style of play
✅ Quality and strength in depth
Teams and supporters will be surprised again next season.

Derby under Rooney/Rosenior was pragmatic, possession based.
Not exactly attack-minded.
John O’Shea and Ashley Cole as coaches doesn’t scream attacking football either..
Could be wrong but if you want this style, there are probably better options.
Job for a mate this is.
We signed pacey, attack-minded, "no fear" players like Laird, Stansfield, Koji, Anderson etc for a reason
We were set up to play with fear against PNE & Norwich
Knighthead have a vision & rightly or wrongly, they're sticking with it. I Might be in the minority, but I'm on board
Birmingham City have agreed an extraordinary fee with Fulham for Jay Stansfield. I’m told it’s a guaranteed £15m, plus £5m in add-ons, a 20% sell-on clause, and a £100k bonus if they are promoted to Championship. Absolutely smashes the League One record.

Tom Cleverley - 17th

100% in the Robins camp btw.

He actually did a really poor job at Derby in hindsight:
Outperformed xG every week due to Harry Wilson.
Scraped 6th with 2 of the most talented youngsters on loan.
Spent £10m on strikers and barely played them in spells.
Didn’t start a striker in the play off final.
I think some people forget what a terrific job Lampard did at Derby and in the first season at Chelsea. Top four when many tipped them for mid-table. Even in his second season, 17 game unbeaten run before Xmas. Whoever gets him next will be getting a fine, young, driven manager.
