Barnsley were in the relegation-zone every week from 15 September until the 91st minute in the final game of the season and survived. Charlton were in it for one week all season and got relegated. The Championship is absolutely bonkers.
Live games on Sky Sports in August + September:
Leeds United (5)
Liverpool (4)
Tottenham (4)
Arsenal (3)
Man United (3)
Man City (3)
Chelsea (2)
Wow.

Millwall forced to play for the second time in five days with just 13 outfield players available. Two teenagers, one of which is 15 y/o, in the squad, and only able to name six subs. Absolutely no fuss. Premier League clubs take note.
Including the year they reached the final (2004), Millwall have won 31 FA Cup games. Only Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea & Arsenal have won more.
Millwall's best league result for some time that. Huddersfield unbeaten in 17 games and three and a half months. 20 points from a possible 24. Five clean sheets on the bounce, with a totally depleted squad. It's an outrageous effort.
Millwall, that's sensational. A point under the circumstances would have been good, but a win is outstanding. 14 senior players, no game for 18 days, a 15 y/o coming on, and umptine players out 👏🏻👏🏻
It's said almost every season but with just four points separating Watford in 3rd and Preston in 11th, it really is shaping up be one of the great races for a play-off place.
It's been exactly one year of Gary Rowett at Millwall.
64 points from a possible 117 (W17 D13 L9). 36 conceded in 39 games, and 17 clean sheets. Great reading.
I have to say, I've been covering Millwall for three seasons now, and that Louie Sibley performance today was the best I've ever seen at The Den. 18-years-old. Absolutely class.
37-year-old Jimmy Abdou has been named in Comoros' 23-man squad for the African Cup of Nations. His first game is vs Gabon and it's live on Sky Sports at 7pm, Monday 🇰🇲
James Meredith:
2009 - Conference North
2012 - Conference
2013 - League Two
2014 - League One
2017 - Championship
2018 - World Cup
Incredible.

🇦🇺👏🏻
77 Goals in 237 Games - One of the most hardworking footballers I've ever watched. Been a wonderful servant to Millwall and will be a massive miss on and off the pitch.
On this day in 2015, Neil Harris was announced as the permanent manager of

. Two Play-Off Finals, one promotion, FA Cup Quarter-Finals and 8th in the Championship. Hard to put into words the job he’s done. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Rowett on Parrott: "I thought he played well, he was bright. For an 18-year-old to make his league debut he was excellent. He showed what great intelligence he's got, he's got really good vision. We need to keep him fit because he's an excellent player."
EXC: Understand that Trippier is set to start ahead of Alexander-Arnold at right wing-back against Switzerland. Konsa to make his full Euros debut and Saka at LWB. All the details below.
29 points from 15 games since Gary Rowett took charge. Joint-most in the division - with Brentford - in that period. Absolutely outstanding job. Millwall have already matched their points tally from last season (44) with 18 matches remaining. Sensational.
Matt Smith has left Millwall and joined Salford City. 21 goals & 9 assists in 102 games for the club, many of which have been from the bench. Been a really good servant.
Bartosz Bialkowski has been named Millwall's player of the year. What a signing he's proved to be. 16 clean sheets - the joint-most in the whole of the Championship. So deserving.
If you ever wanna appreciate how well Millwall are doing. Southend, who they beat to the top-six by one point four seasons ago, are on the verge of being relegated to the National League, whilst Millwall are disappointed at missing out on the Championship top-six. Perspective.
If that was goodbye to Jed Wallace then it brings down a quite simply brilliant Millwall career. 42 goals and 49 assists in 260 games. A class act off the pitch and the best player on it for the last five years.
Just less than 1,000 Millwall fans making the trip to Blackpool. 500-mile round trip, four weeks after Xmas, injuries galore. Tremendous support. Hope they're rewarded.
Kevin Friend won't referee in the next round of PL fixtures after the Diogo Jota penalty incident against Crystal Palace, but will referee Millwall vs Preston tonight. Pretty much an insult to Championship and all other EFL clubs that.
Neil Harris on talkSPORT earlier today. Classy as always. Said it was the right time to leave. Made the decision after the Luton game, the board weren't prepared for it, they didn't welcome it and the players tried to make him change his mind.
Millwall fans stuck by Dave Martin after his mistake against Brighton, showing him an incredible amount of support. Regardless of his dad's connections to West Ham, to come out and say that signing for them is a 'dream' given the rivalry between the two clubs is disrespectful.
Since Millwall were beaten by Luton on 16 October, they've taken 35 points from a possible 51 at home. No visiting side has scored more than once. Nine goals conceded. What you call a fortress.
Millwall might still narrowly miss out on the play-offs, but for Gary Rowett to have taken over a team that were just five points from safety after 13 matches to guarantee a top-half finish with two games left is amazing.
Neil Harris told me that one of the reasons that Jimmy Abdou was loaned out to AFC Wimbledon last season was because he didn't want to get in Ben Thompson's way and reduce his chances of playing first-team football. Sums the man up - selfless.

Jed Wallace on
@NTT20Pod
talking about his contact situation: "I didn't think anything would happen. I've signed for Millwall three times, and I've never not enjoyed a day here. My ambition is to play in the PL, but my number one target is to do it with Millwall."
Days spent in the Top-Six in 17/18:
Cardiff (274)
Wolves (267)
Aston Villa (192)
Derby (161)
Bristol City (154)
Sheffield United (142)
Leeds (101)
Fulham (100)
Middlesbrough (88)
Ipswich (50)
Preston (40)
Nottingham Forest (35)

That's a wrap and another 8th place finish for Millwall, which is absolutely brilliant. I hope you've enjoyed my coverage, fingers crossed that fans will be allowed back sooner rather than later. Stay safe and have a good summer, well what's left of it anyway.
Ahead of tonight, Jake Cooper has played 90 minutes in 121 consecutive Championship matches, dating back to 18 November 2017. 10,890 minutes. 181.5 hours. Crazy numbers.
Cresswell, Shackleton, Honeyman Flemming and Afobe all on board. Serious statement of intent from Millwall. One more attacking player and I think that's a seriously impressive window from Rowett.
You can take Neil Harris out of Millwall, but you can't take the Millwall out of Neil Harris. His 10-man Cardiff City side have come from 3-0 down after 60 minutes to draw 3-3 against Leeds at Elland Road.
Absolutely terrific performance from Millwall. Organised, clinical and plenty of character. A massive and much-needed win under the circumstances.
Ryan Leonard absolutely outstanding.
This Shane Ferguson story is an incredible one. Virtually left out in the cold for nine months - not playing a single minute for three of those - and after being told he can leave in the summer to then come back into the side and perform like this, is truly remarkable.

This weekend marks exactly three years since Jake Cooper last missed a single minute of football in the Championship. That's 132 matches consecutively, which is 198 hours, 11,880 minutes and 712,800 seconds.
Troy Parrott scored his first Millwall goal in a 5-1 victory over Bromley in pre-season earlier on this afternoon.
J. Wallace, Mahoney, Leonard and Smith were also on the scoresheet.
Crazy to think that if Jed Wallace does leave Millwall this summer, he would have never won the club's player of the season in his five full years despite comfortably being the best player during that period.
First away win in seven months for Millwall, who are suddenly just five points behind leaders Burnley. Five goals in five games for Flemming, he's turning into a brilliant signing.
Quite incredible effort that from Millwall. Umpteen injuries, another two today, but they've managed to come up with their best league run for four years. Somehow, five points off the play-offs. Admirable.
Since Gary Rowett arrived, Millwall have taken 29 points from their 17 away Championship matches. No side currently in the division has taken more. 11 clean sheets and just 12 goals conceded (seven of those came in two games). It's outstanding.
Eight victories overall. Six 1-0s.
Millwall surely have to go all out to try and sign Benik Afobe this summer. He's not only on a free transfer, but he has proven that he's still more than capable of scoring goals at this level. 10 goals in 28 starts is a very decent return.
Quite remarkable effort by Millwall to hold on with 10 men for almost 50 minutes. Superb start to the campaign - their best since 2014. It took them 11 games (3 October) to reach seven points last season. Just three games and 14 days needed this time around. Sensational stuff.
41% of Millwall's points this season have come under Neil Harris. He's been back 67 days. No team has taken more since he returned - done a phenomenal job.
