It saddens us to share the news our oldest and loyalist supporter Ernie has passed away at the age of 93. A club legend. He was so proud of all the achievements of the club. He will be missed by us all. RIP Ernie ❤️🖤
If only some people knew how hard we’ve had to work over a long period of time to put two teams out every week. A few years back we were close to folding as a club, so we’re delighted where we have come. I suggest others concentrate on themselves rather than worry about us 🤫
All at the club is saddened to hear of the passing of former Old Windsor FC Secretary, Chairman and dedicated supporter Keith Moore. The club meant a great deal to Keith and in turn he meant a great deal to all of us at the club. Our thoughts are with Keith’s friends and family.
For those that have been asking for the details of the clubs first Slough Town Cup final. If your looking for some football to start your Easter weekend on Good Friday get down to the game!!
Current players know him for his work off the pitch, others who played throughout the years will know him for how good a player he was. The top scorer in our history and our record appearance maker (as long as our records go back). Well done

An absolute disgrace. Don’t normal comment on other teams, but when one of our own players is subject to this sort of abuse we will.
@WindsorRoyalsFC
I hope you take this as far as possible and are fully supported by League and county.
Clubs don’t like ours don’t run without volunteers giving up their time, a big thank you to
@BirchmoreSandra
who’s played a big part this season. Thanks for all your hard work the last two weekends for putting on food for the teams ❤️🖤
Presentation night complete. What a season these lads have had. Some of the nicest blokes your likely to meet, proud of them all

Today wasn’t really about the result. Having said that 3 points against a good side with Ernie looking down on our winner 🌈
Thank you to all that attended in our clubs send off to our biggest fan Ernie. ❤️🖤
#RIPErnie
It’s been a tough season at times, however at the start of it we targeted the three external cups. To get our hands on the Ascot & Fielden cup makes the season a success.
A huge thanks to all that followed us over, and a massive thank you to
@AscotUnitedFC
for your hospitality.
A big thank you to the guys from the Maidenhead and Norfolkian cup for presenting us with the trophy last night. First senior trophy for our Saturday team, which is a great achievement. A great way for Gaz to end his management duties
#UpTheOsss
This Saturday will be
@OldWindsorFC
final fixtures of the decade. We look back on the last 10 years which started difficultly with our team relegated down to division 2, but back to back promotions to the prem where we are now established makes it a successful period for the club
This weekend we will be observing a minutes silence at both of our fixtures in respect for local referee Tony Gould who sadly passed away last week. All of our thoughts are with Tony’s family and friends at this time.
Management news:
The first team management duo confirmed for this season is
@russtaylor17
continuing as manager and
@stuartplant84
as his assistant.
For the reserves Loz will continue as manager along with
@wadey0909
We will release training information tomorrow

This Friday
@OldWindsorFC
take on Singh Sabha in the final of the Maidenhead and Norfolkian cup, 19:30 KO at Stag Meadow. Come along and support the lads!!
Last night sees the end of our season. Been a long and at times tough one, but the second half of it has seen both teams push on up the league and to top it off a trophy we’ve been trying to get our hands on for a while. See you all in 23/24 🔴⚫️
#UpTheOss
Everyone
@OldWindsorFC
would like to send our condolences to all
@LangleyFC_
on the passing of Peter Phillips Senior.
Our thoughts are with all Peter’s friends and family at this time.
Unfortunately no game for us Saturday now, so that’s us done for the season. Both sides finish runners up in their leagues. Not a bad season as we achieved one target of winning our first Slough Town Senior cup 🏆
Thanks for all the support, we go again next season
#UpTheOss
If the news about the season being void is true then we are gutted, especially as we believe our first team have already mathematically won the league. However can’t be more proud of what we’ve done this season. First team 10/10 league wins and as a club 19 league games unbeaten
The club would like to say a big thank you to
@DazWareham
and Loz who have decided to take a step back from managing the teams this season. The hard work both have put in over the years is greatly appreciated in what has been a fantastic spell for the club

Day two of the weekend of football complete. Thanks for everyone that attended our Memorial Day and friendly between current and past players

We don’t think anyone would begrudge
@OldWindsorFC
Chairman,
@GaryWade02
, his moment on Good Friday, celebrating with the Slough Town Cup after the Os win the Final.
One of the nicest men in football, not just the EBFL family, but the wider football community as well.
🏆 😊
A big shout out to our management team. Without you guys we would have no team. So pleased these guys got the success they deserve for their hard work throughout the season

Been a bit of a strange week or two off the pitch. At this stage all we would like to concentrate on is our cup final tomorrow. For all our followers that will be attending, the players appreciate your support and we will do all we can to finish the season on a high 🔴⚫️
Great start to training, roughly 50 players over the 3 sessions. Shows how far we’ve come over the past couple of seasons, two seasons ago we had 5 players turn up for our first training session of the season 😳Thanks to the management team for the hard work 👏👏
Yesterday saw the
@OldWindsorFC
presentation night, which for us officially brings an end to the 2021/22 season. Two runners up finishes for us. Congrats to league winners
@Britwell_FC
and
@HartsdevilsFC
on winning their division. For the first time we won this beauty
Two big results today as we see out 2021 in style.
First team with a big result in what was a very good competitive game against a very good

Thank you to the
@EastBerkshireFL
for awarding us with last seasons awards. A lot of hard work put in last season and it means a lot to get the awards. Hopefully we will be back playing soon, when it is safe to do so.

After training last night thats’s now us done for the year. Hopefully we will be back playing in January but will await confirmation from the powers that be. To all our players, management, supporters and followers have a good Christmas and New Year. Stay safe all ❤️🖤
A very nice write up about a very nice man. It was good to be there tonight and hear from his family and friends. RIP Keith, hopefully as a club we will be able to put our own little tribute together soon ❤️🖤
Back to back training sessions tonight with last seasons squad finally getting back together. Another session arranged on Wednesday for some new lads we have joining us. Any other new players interested let us know 👍
On a side note from today we could not be more proud of our lads. It’s been a difficult second half of the season where we’ve suffered with injuries more than ever and other availability issues. To be able to continue to get the two teams out shows how far we have come
#UpTheOss
And who could forget Ernie who we lost earlier this year, no doubt looking down on us with a smile on his face last night. Both he and Keith Moore who we have lost in the last few years would be so proud ❤️🖤
A big shout out to our management team. Without you guys we would have no team. So pleased these guys got the success they deserve for their hard work throughout the season
#UpTheOss
Proud of all involved. Games being played against good teams and all observing the guidelines. The challenges of cleaning goals, footballs, corner flags and the kit after the game. Every step of the way we’ve tried to follow all the rules in place and will continue to do so.
Good luck in the US
@brad_birchmore
has been great having you in the squad the last 2 seasons, and although you’ll be missed by all at the club, hopefully you can build a successful future over
@INTechMSoccer
show them what you can do 👍
Pleased to announce
@DazWareham
as our new first team manager. Darren has been involved with the club for 28 years formerly as a player. We will now try to bounce back after a difficult start to the season.
Loz C will continue running the reserve side as player manager
#UpTheOs
15th June the Old Windsor management team will be meeting to start planning project restart. Hopefully we will have more news regarding training dates and at some point some friendly dates (for later in the summer). Further news will follow in the coming weeks.
This day 75 years ago our great country defeated an evil enemy. Today let’s celebrate as best we can the bravery shown by those hero’s. Also spend a moment to remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice, those brave men should never be forgotten. Today show your appreciation
Sometimes we don’t show the appreciation we should to the men and women that sacrificed their lives to allows us all to live how we do today. These hero’s live on in us and will never be forgotten.
Great to get the lads back training today. With an attendance of over 30 for our first training session of the season is numbers we haven’t seen in a long time. Great to see some new faces and the old guard from last season
#UpTheOss
No games for us this week. That’s us done for 2021 in what was a strange year for the club. Lots of injuries, players moving on, with new faces coming in, and a change in manager has seen big changes at the club. We look to build again in 2022 after a strong end to 2021
#UpTheOss
A big shout out to
@stewwrig
Loz C, Adam O, Gaz,
@simonj10
and
@wadey0909
who have been with us throughout those 10 years. Clubs changed a bit throughout the years, but great commitment from you lads to be with us right the way through.
Thanks to both sides at todays Reserve team game for an impeccably observed minutes silence.
Thoughts to all at
@OldWindsorFC
after the passing of club legend Ernie Wade.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Thanks to everyone that voted for us tonight. We never expected 400 votes for us in the space of 15 minutes. What can we say other than we're not very good at penalties, at least it was the semi final and not the final this time 😂
Old Windsor FC are on the look out for new players. The 23/24 season we will be operating two teams on a Saturday.
If your looking at joining a well organised, welcoming, local club then drop us a DM
Once again a big thank you to the Os fans today. Been great to have you with us the last few weeks. Hopefully see you all cheering us on the last few weeks of the season
#UpTheOss
Just wanted to say a big thank you to
@windsorfc
for their hospitality yesterday. Also a massive thank you to all our fans that turned up. Gutted we couldn’t bring the trophy home, but Lady Luck wasn’t on our side in the penalty shootout. Up the OWsss
