A traffic control vehicle was setting up a closure on E-470 when it was hit by a truck. This is why we ask motorists to drive at reduced speeds and stay alert in construction zones. Fortunately, no one was injured. Please keep roadside workers safe, and give them a brake!

Bikers, walkers and rollers - the extension of the #HighPlainsTrail is complete! Running along the west side of #E470 from Quincy Ave. to Stephen D. Hogan Pkwy., the expansion connects to five neighborhoods in the region and features a 10 ft. concrete path with 2 ft. shoulders.

As part of the #E470 #RoadWidening Project, crews are continuing to install wildlife fencing and game ramps along the road to help avoid vehicle/wildlife collisions. This time of year, animals are especially active. Please look for animals near the road and drive the speed limit!
