The Town of Cheektowaga is spend nearly $2.8 million dollars a year on street lighting. The streetlight purchase and upgrade project I’ve advocated for will reduce these costs. Energy costs are only around 20% of lighting expenses, “facilities and maintenance” are the other 80%

This project is an example of the responsible redevelopment Cheektowaga needs. It helps address the regional housing shortage and will share the costs of the Cheektowaga-Sloan schools. Restore NY grant funding has been sought to support the project.
