NPS honored Cheryl Street, a paraprofessional @brienmcmahon_hs , for her heroic actions at a local restaurant in September. Street saved a waiter’s life by performing CPR and using an AED. She learned these skills 3 weeks before the incident from her colleague Eileen Kinne.

Following a report today about an alleged threat involving a weapon, NPS will dismiss NHS & PTECH students for the day so the NPD can continue their work. Buses are available. Backpacks & bags will remain in school so the NPD can conduct a search once the building has cleared.
