Iโm thankful for the Cowboys hiring Mike McCarthy to demonstrate to the world how insanely good Aaron Rodgers in his prime must have been to make him look competent.
Giannis is shooting better than AD from the field, from 3, same for FT, scores more, rebounds more, assists more, initiates offenseโฆbut TNT thinks he is a try hard and AD is more talented. Morons.
Jamal Murray not being suspended for one of the most suspendable actions of all time, then going off in Game 3 while Denver gets all the calls is a pretty tough look. Iโd be losing my mind if I were a Timberwolves fan. Good response by Denver though. Game 4 is for the title.
Caruso is going to draw a charge on Giannis in the Finals and House of Highlights is going to put it on Instagram and Iโm going to throw my phone out the window.
Richard Jefferson, upon Bobby Marks being asked to evaluate Kevin Durant trade proposals: โWeโve already seen Bobbyโs work. Itโs why Boston is so good.โ
LeBron stans making the East vs West argument to discredit Giannis should be very very careful about opening that Pandora's Box as far as LeBron's legacy is concerned ๐ฌ
In retrospect, the KD-Kyrie partnership made lots of sense.
Both overrated for aesthetic reasons. Both most famous for hitting Finals 3s on teams carried by better players.
Khris Middleton Versus Jayson Tatum, LAST 12 GAMES ONLY
You know, the 12 games were Tatum is an MVP candidate
Per-36:
Middleton: 29/8/6 on 53/49/95
Tatum: 29/7/3 on 51/49/78
Middleton better on every number.
Shaq is spot on here. โI donโt care how many free throws I miss, Iโm still going to be aggressive.โ See Giannis last night. Air-balled a free thrown and only got more aggressive, and won the game.
I have long maintained that Middleton would have even better numbers if he were ever the number one option. Legitimately one of the most underrated players in NBA history.
Dear Giannis,
We will always pass you the ball. In fact, we traded away the one guy that wouldnโt pass you the ball (Brogdon). Please sign the supermax.
Sincerely yours,
The Bucks
Mark Jackson: โIf I was Steph Curry I would thank Bostonโs defense for the MVPโ
Seriously, wtf? Who wants this? Itโs just false, and itโs just bitterness. Why do we have to listen to this?
Pat Connaughton becoming a no-doubt-about-it 16-game player is one of the most stunning player development stories Iโve ever seen.
(And heโs still working โ look at how the keep-it-high shot he added this year paid off)
If the Bucks donโt win this series, Iโm going to be 75 years old trying to convince the youngโins how great Giannis was, and heโs going to have one less ring than he should because Bud refused to make the most obvious adjustment imaginable.
Bud is damaging Giannis historically
Brogdon leaves, Middleton gets more usage, career high 25 points-per-36.
Giannis sits, Middleton gets more usage, career high 51 points.
If Middleton was the number one on another team, and the Bucks acquired him, everyone would rave about Milwaukee having two stars.
The irony of Coach Bud is that he, more than anyone, proved that coaching matters with the way in which he elevated the Bucks after Jason Kidd.
He builds great structure and culture and any young team looking to elevate their franchise would be lucky to have him.
BREAKING: The Milwaukee Bucks dismissed coach Mike Budenholzer, sources tell ESPN. Budenholzer is out after the Eastโs top-seed suffered a first-round loss to the Miami Heat.
That was like 1 of the 2006 Finals ref disasters. No consistency, no feel, all over the place on charges/no-charges and then they completely botched the Jrue push off and Smartโs 3 FT that somehow turned into 2. Just brutal. I hope the NBA is horrified. PS: Great game by Giannis.
TNT/NBATV are stacked with great announcing teams:
Spero Dedes & Greg Anthony are elite
Ian Eagle & Grant Hill are elite
Gus Johnson & Jim Jackson are elite
It is so much more enjoyable to listen to good announcing teams. It's a huge problem for the NBA that ESPN is so bad
It is absolutely enraging to watch the Heat take advantage of the Celticsโ inability to dribble and realize that Bud didnโt bother playing Jevon Carter after he successfully pressured Boston ball-handlers in the first 2 games. I absolutely believe it cost the Bucks the series.
I love NBA Twitter but I think Twitter has ruined the NBA. Itโs sad how there is such a zero sum constant negativity culture around everything. Why canโt we just celebrate awesomeness?
LEAKED Audio Of Pacers Refusing To Give Giannis Antetokounmpo The โGame Ballโ๐:
โYou want the ball? Youโre not getting that ballโ
Then, Giannis gets heated at Tyrese Haliburton and yells at him: โGo get the f*cking ball! You need to go get itโ
Milwaukee is a step slow, because the NBA inexplicably started the Finals early giving Phoenix three extra days rest than the Bucks despite the fact they also won in 6 ๐คทโโ๏ธ
The rule change is simple: charges can only be drawn by the primary defender.
It was inevitable a day like this โ two stars injured and a Finals favorite fundamentally compromised โ would happen.
Current league leadership is a disaster.
I would like to thank Giannis, Khris, and the rest of the Milwaukee Bucks for the early Christmas present they delivered in July. Merry Christmas! ๐๐ฆ๐
I know agents are supposed to gas up their clients, but Rich Paul saying that the Bucks would have won a title with AD instead of Giannis remains one of the worst takes of all time
"I blame Anthony Davis... you ain't doing what you supposed to do. You're 27 years old, you're supposed to be in your prime."

Bucks fans are overreacting. Jeff Green went 7 for 8 from 3. Kevin Durant played one of the greatest games of all time. And the Bucks didnโt fold. They got beat. Two more chances.
If you are an 80% favorite every game the likelihood of a 17 game winning streak is 2.25%. Add even one game with significantly lower likelihood of winning (like the Clippers) and that drops drastically.
There is a direct link between the NBA having so many terrible announcers that seem to hate basketball, and casual fans being ignorant about why Giannis was the obvious DPOY (and why the Bucks are playing at 1:30pm). In short, the NBA doesnโt know how to sell itself.
