Can we just set the rule now: If you host a tournament, collect replay codes from every game (or at least the bracket stage) and make them publicly available. If spectators get access to them, it's even easier. No reason to let this powerful of a tool go underutilized.

Main takeaway from 2.5 hours of analysis over a 3 minute Splat 3 match is that they've really put an emphasis on player agency this time around. Spawns? You pick where to go. Specials? In and out in a hurry. Movement? New, quick motions that preserve momentum. Pumped, yall.

I humbly suggest that you aspiring Splatoon 3 grinders, for your own sanity, avoid playing Tower Control in SoloQ for at least 3 weeks. Maybe 4.

A tip for newer Splatoon players: You may, at one point, have seen the acronym "CDS" used for a weapon. While pundits may have told you this stands for "Custom Dualie Squelchers", this is actually incorrect. The true phrase is "Cruel Demon Spawn" and mirrors the weapon's evil.

Confession: Back in Splat 1, Stratosphere would sometimes run double Bomb Rush comps with the sole intent of lowering the game's frame rate to give ourselves an edge over unsuspecting opponents.

Lots of thoughts on the weekend, but one I wanna say while it's fresh: I don't think I've ever seen a team utilize the QSJ facet of Tacticooler like Crush Soda did. Frankly, I'm stunned a team had the reaction time & technical skill to execute mid-fight jumps in a top-level game

Tried emulate the swim-forward into Squid Roll-forward that Norisuke did with a handcam on so people can see the inputs! I think you could get it tighter than this, but the general movement seems very repeatable once you find the rhythm.
