Breaking: The Shepkowski family has agreed to terms with top puppy free agent Lhasa Apso/beagle (probably?) mix Lou (Louie). Scouts say Lou has very good boy potential but has to develop in crate training and to overcome separation anxiety. Family & puppy both said to be stoked.

I will say this about Niko on his way out and it has nothing to do with basketball: On my walk to work when I used to live in Streeterville I'd regularly see him pull over on the Columbus St. bridge and hand to-go boxes of food to homeless people in the winter. Simple & kind act.

When my grandma was 90ish she failed her drivers test & lost her license. Instead of quitting driving forever she busted her ass and passed the written and driven tests a year later and earned her license back. She was a loving badass that will be missed.
