The definition of “genocide” is a legal definition, reached through negotiations between UN Member States in 1948. There is no such thing as “US definition” of genocide. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying, and suggesting protection of human lives is an inherently US thing.

Two years ago on 21 Sept 2019, HK police was caught on camera ruthlessly kicking a member of 'Protect the Children', dressed in yellow. The video of police brutality went viral but even more so the police's explanation - they weren't kicking a man, it was just "a yellow object".

This is really funny because when you read the article, it actually says, on a score from 0 to 10, 56% gave a score of zero, meaning they had no interest in the idea, and 28% gave a score from 1 to 5. Or put another way, 84% do not want to study in universities in China.

One of the first #MilkteaAlliance campaigns was to raise awareness of how Chinese dams are causing ecological problems for the people of Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam etc. Saying it’s because of ‘US efforts’ erases the very real concerns of the peoples in these countries.
