Tip for when building #community in #startup space: It’s not about getting you in front of as many people as possible, it’s about getting you in front of the RIGHT people. Having a clear target audience and market research about them is extremely important.

@burbteam So I have a lot on @GroupMe which has had the highest retention rate for me. I also have one on @WhatsApp because it is for international students. If I were to create one, I would hands down use @geneva now. I know a lot of people use @circleapp and there is also @MavenHQ .

Sometimes you have to cut out things that are not bearing fruit in order to fit in the things that are. I had to reduce my hours at one of the jobs I have in order to prioritize my other job, my job search (I graduate May) and building my personal brand.
