🧑🏻‍🦼 It's not dignified to explain why we need access to a lift, access should be available at all times unconditionally. 👩🏾‍🦯 There should be staff available to help, not a reliance on inaccessible screens. 🩼 Disabled people should simply be able to get a coffee independently.

@PequenoPete @becca__lr Mate, not the point. Maybe the times didn't work as she'd need to arrange childcare (3 kids depend on her, one with ASN), maybe she's clinically vulnerable. Nobody is blaming the NHS, more the govt for failing to implement proper measures during lockdown for pregnant patients.

After sending a nice stranger to fetch my (irritatingly, quite tasty) matcha latte, a member of staff comes down & says sorry - they tend to "leave the doorbell when it's busy". It was 7pm, only a handful of customers in. But also, what on earth? Not worth £4.50 nor my dignity.

A return from Glasgow to Falkirk (even with 1/3 off using a railcard!) now costs £11.30...💰 If this ticket wasn’t being reimbursed by the group I volunteer for, I no longer think I could afford to see my family by train 😣 That’s okay, there’s always the bus, right? Right?

It was 37 degrees in the kitchen I work in today, during a 7 hour shift. Scotland is not designed for this level of heat, even if it *is* hotter where you are in the world right now. Please respect that workers here are struggling. #heatwaveuk

Minutes before I was about to hop on the train to support an eviction this morning, we’ve now heard from @HannahB4LiviMP and @Living_Rent that the tenants have successfully been granted a reprieve! 😄 The tenants will now have the time needed to safely move out. Big relief! 🙌🏻

3) We must be careful not to conflate the #GRRBill as religious groups opposing, vs non-religious groups supporting. Freedom of religion is a beautiful thing - it allowed a group of folks to tell you & @FoysolChoudhury on the 20th of October at the roundtable that you are wrong.

Today, we were finally able to return to in-person school visits with @seemescotland ! After more than a year-and-a-half of virtual volunteering, it was so lovely to meet @LochendHigh pupils and chat about mental health stigma & discrimination. A great school motto, too 😊

@ManchesterPride : - Charged a ridiculous amount for the afterparty, even tho queer people = more likely to face wage discrimination - Denied disabled people from fully participating - Was hijacked by TERFs (transphobes), supported by security. Not good enough. #AccessiblePride

Does anybody else experience this? 😅 When I spot an ad for what would be my *dream job*, I get too anxious to actually apply. Similar to imposter syndrome, but it's also anxiety around how to deal with a potential rejection after putting my soul into the application process...

@SC4RF4C3_TONY ... Please don't use 'high functioning'. I totally get what you mean - I was diagnosed as 'high functioning autistic' as a child, but it's a pretty outdated & incorrect term now. It doesn't make sense when you think about the spectrum - we all function differently at diff times.

A wild idea, but if you’ve been “accused” of harassing women on a “number of occasions” perhaps that’s not something to share publicly, in defence of your own actions... Reflect on your behaviour. Take some time! It sucks, but maybe there’s a reason it’s happened more than once.
