Absolutely loved this article from McCusker group. Take home msg.-1) isoelectronic Fe(II) and Co(III) complexes are very much different. 2) bpy is known as net pi-acceptor for 4d metals, but net pi-donor for Co(III). 3) NHCs are the future for Co(III) PET
