My name is Nabeel, I'm a 2D artist working in the animation industry in Pakistan. Currently working as an Art Director at Wakhra Studios. Haven't really had much time to make portfolio pieces, but here are some pieces I like.
I really wish people would understand that art is about hard work, not talent. Very few people have the talent, most of us have to work our ass off to reach a decent level with our work.
As someone who knows what it means to be talented, let me tell you a story:
I was born in the Beijing shooting range, grew up with Olympians, and picked up air rifle after moving to Singapore. Within a few months, I hit the Olympic finals cutoff with no full-time training. 1/

" Figuring It Out " is an anecdotal graphic essay on how dang hard it is to draw naked people in Pakistan. It's a personal story about growth, struggle and self-discovery in art. If you like Blue Period, you'll love this! Link to the full comic here:

Hi! I'm a comic artist from Islamabad, Pakistan
I love fighting games, especially classic Capcom stuff, so this is my jam! Here's some fanart I've done of Fighting game characters:

The whole squad is finally here! 👹🪓🐙
I already have some deep lore flying around in my head for them all, and I hope to return to them and explore some of that in the future.

I just released my first solo comic. It is called "Figuring It Out" and it's a b/w 24 page story about how dang hard it is to study figure drawing in Pakistan

Hi!
My friend Khaya referred me to this. I'm a comics illustrator/concept artist from Islamabad, and all of the projects you mentioned are my jam!
Here are some sample pages and illiustrations and a link to a project that had a similar horror theme:

I think after an hour or so, you'll get the gist of it. Honestly, I play pretty conservatively and it's still good. I only learned about the crazy stuff after the fact.
As an AD, traps I see artists fall into: lack of research, shallow designs, ignoring instructions, overconfidence, and using elements that feel impressive for the sake of it, which can look cheap without substance, & lack of visual communications. 1/🧵

Honestly, it's kinda sad how such a great medium has had such a messy culture (fan + work) tbh. Really wish things would be more respectful.

Thanks for the prompt! I'm Nabeel and I generally draw comic stuff but I've been having a bit of a kick getting Baldur's Gate and SF6 fanart out of my system.
