Options as a DJ: - only play tunes that are free downloads and originals for a whole set - use YouTube to mp3 to get songs but the quality is ass and it will sound like shit and youre an asshole for stealing music - spend hundreds of dollars buying music for your sets

I think ravers don’t realize how stupidly expensive it is to be a dj. Almost every song that’s played out has to be bought. If you add up each individual song played in a set then the typical dj is probably paying at least +200$ for that set. Kind of interesting to think about.
